  1. Snowed in! Nah, only about 3 inches but I'm already working on cabin fever! Time to warm things up and toss 'em on! Manfred Mann's Earth Band's 9th release from 1979. Opted for this instead of the "Blinded by The Light" cover from 1977, which first appeared on Springsteen's Debut album in 1973. STILL scratching my head over that one. Could have sworn Mann did it first for some reason. Have several copies of Rush's "Moving Pictures" LP but decided to pick up this "Audiophile 180 gram" copy just for giggles. It couldn't sound that much better right? WRONG! TOTALLY AMAZING so ****** one while you can. Peart and the boys are ALL over these LS of mine. Well worth it! Then I did what I wasn't going to do. Threw another Dream Theater LP on. "Once in a LIVEtime" is a live double album by Dream Theater, released in 1998. It is their first full-length live album, and their second live release. It was produced and recorded by Kevin Shirley during the European leg of the Touring into Infinity world tour at the Bataclan theater in Paris. Musta went for the gusto on this one #879 of 1500. They killed it for a live LP.
  2. @wuzzzer Wellllllll that WOULD suck Mark. Hope ya feel better! About 3 inhes here last nite and into this mornng. Blower's still in the garage. Just used the shovel and could care less. Low in the teens tomorrow and who knows what after that. Saying cold all next week but it's Ohio and subject to change.
  3. Summertime blues??? North American tour coming right up! Sketchy but ONE show goes on sale 2-15. https://liveforlivemusic.com/news/king-crimson-north-american-tour-zappa-band/?fbclid=IwAR0ie7UIXTl3pyXJEVgtMOV6TlNHD5Sstf9mbOIRgk_KSHOo9qIHXViyTwg#.XkRHuD7tARY.facebook
  4. There were only like 4 buttons on the right side of the door. They actually looked like stickers or something. About 6x6 and touch buttons. Don't think they lasted long but when ya got about 8 ppl standin there makin comments? Wasn't pretty cause I was the ONLY one who was thirsty.
  5. Totally trashed working the last concert @ the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium for whoever was playing. I couldn't hold it and I HAD to go so I'm headin in to the closest john. Perfect it was 6 deep at the old trough urinals and there are two sinks soooo yup... Half way thru I was relaxed enough to look around. EVERY stall had a waiting line of 4-5 females and every darn one was watching me. Busted, the ONLY thing I could think of was, "Just like watching your Dad when you were a lil girl isn't it?" Tucked it back in, next man up and out the door! What could I say? Told everyone about it and they were dyin but agreein w/me on the choice. Then there was the "New" talking Coke machine. Sensed when you walked up to it and said, "How can I help you?" out of this 6" speaker in the door right at eye level. So I put my money in and said, "Diet Coke" and NOTHING. So I got closer to the speaker and said it again and NOTHING. Group I was with started snickering. LOUDER I said "Diet Coke PLEASE!" Nothing. By then everyone is rolling. I was like WTF this thing has like $2 of my money. Hit the change return button and nothing. It had my money and by then everyone was dying. Found out later that the ONLY thing the machine was supposed to say was, "How can I help you?" THEN you pushed these over-sized buttons for your selection. Found that out after we were all in the van on the way out. Someone else got my Coke.
  6. Buckeyes? Double UGH! Hope these two coming in can start next year. They need something.

    What I Got Today!

@wvu80, that $1 title could also have been done to save paying taxes on the bike when the title was transferred. A LOT of ppl in Ohio do that w/friends and family members when they shift stuff around. You'll find out when you get everything transferred into your name. Guy might have sold it for a buddy too who didn't know squat about fb marketplace. I picked up my Oppo that way for $50. Older model but works fine for me and my cd's, which are slim and none. Don't even wanna think about using it for my TV. lol The guy was great, nice home and had the box. Said it was just sitting there collecting dust. Hopefully you're good to go. Think my next "bike" will be a hoveround! lol
  8. Ok, I HAD to! Interesting.

    The Other Discs

I always preferred nothing at all. Sometimes it worked out wonderfully well and at other times not so much. Love the one your with!
  10. Gave it a shot oldtimer. Only had this one from 1966. "Downtown" was released in '64 and I think I wore out the 45. Good excuse for me to play it since I seem to always see it in there between The Dave Clark Five and some Roy Clark. She did have such a great voice that just drew ya deeper into her lyrics. Geez, 87 and still kickin too. Hard to believe this was the Stones 11th US album released in 1971. Triple Platinum here in the US and one of their best. Sticky enough for ya oldtimer?
  11. Too bad. What an amazing career though. Was always funny to watch. RIP
  12. Oldest daughter is a "glitcher" and found this somewhere for $49.99 so I bought it from her when my last one took a dump about a year ago. Only one overflow so far and it was on me. Ground things a bit too much. Ha! I don't use the K-cup feature but it's there if you go back to them. Cuisinart Model SS-15P1. That girl can find some deals. The real deal was a few years ago. Found me a $499.95 Weber gas grill on the Home Depot site for $49.95. Bought it on line and picked it up at the closest store. Wanted to buy another one while there so looked and they'd found the glitch, changed the price back to $499.95. Hahaha Got a phone call and she and the grands came over and put it together for me. Said Happy Birthday! lolol
  13. Won and Done! I NEEDED an excuse to spend some $$ on albums. Even though it's not going to have an effect on the older stuff it will on the new stuff. Always fun to dive in and nose for stuff though. 😂
  14. I was workin afternoon shift yesterday for some weird reason. Crashed @ 2 and actually slept til 10 sooooo. I think I need barbitchuate's but that's not gonna happen today. Take melotonin or this or that... Blech! Just grind thru it. Actually woke up at 2PM one day last week. Tripped me out when I looked at the clock. Didn't go to sleep til 7ish though. Just nuts for me anymore. lol First mugga is comin right up!
  15. Trying to find a few now and fill some holes. Thanks for that heads up @codewritinfool! It rolls down hill here in Ohio yanno. Always LAST for the relevant stuff! lolol Will be interesting to see what the cause was. Gonna be slim pickens down the road I'm thinkin but that's just my thoughts on it. Great way to start a Saturday morning. That and waitin for coffee. lol
  16. Two things here... @Coytee That's pretty amazing. The first place I looked was the fireplace but quickly dismissed it but didn't see it anywhere else. Then the "rest of the story" and yup, there it was. Now the LS? Well nm you can blow minds with all of it I'm sure. hahaha Love it too! Pretty darn cool. @ClaudeJ1 just let me know and I'm on it. Pretty amazing just sitting there in the drivers seat listening. One of those Kodak moments when ya know you don't wanna move but someone else is waiting. The plane crash was a total and complete DUH moment. Talk about central nervous system overload? When I hit the porch I could have lit 3 smokes and not even known it instead of the two I did! hahahaha Thanks for that! lol
  17. @ClaudeJ1 Why do I believe that? Geez Louise!
  18. Got some winners right up there ^^^^^^^^ sports fans! Thanks for that @MicroMara! Heck we just play and share in here. I don't think anyone counts! We just GO! "Train of Thought" was Dream Theater's 7th studio album released in 2003. Portnoy said it was written in response to a heavier and even darker audience of heavy metal fans taking only 3 weeks to write. Trust me it IS that but he cooks! Awake is their third studio album released in 1994. Great album and well received by everyone. It was the last one though for keyboardist Kevin Moore who bowed out after that one. Clean and very tight all the way thru! Ok, outta the Dream Theater rut and moving on to SOMEthing... Hmmmmm
  19. I'd go weekly then finally nothing helped. My Chiro told me to see my Doc so I did. MRI and some x-rays and they found bone spurs in my lower back. My Orthodude told me before the surgery there was also a curvature in my lower spine. I told him to fix it too. Told me I was #332 and relax. lol Came around later and he said he took care of everything and removed 3 huge bone spurs in my lower back. Haven't been back to a chiro since! 20 years of suffering lower back pain for an hour procedure. Ugh.
  20. Couple inches here today. Started last evening and must have snowed all nite. Sun came up though. High of 26. Nope the snowblower didn't get used. Still ready to go though!

    Best Wishes

Feel better soon Mark! Easy peasy!
  22. Lil bit of snow this morning when I rolled out. Now? Windy and blowing snow. Supposed to hit a bit harder up along the North Coast and Lake Erie. Southern part of "the heart of it all is rain." My mail "person" just drove by an hour ahead of schedule so my buddy must be on vaca or off. New kids are always ahead of schedule! Haven't mellowed out yet! Never know I was retired and pathetically worthless would ya? Timing the mail delivery now. Go figure. 😂
  23. Never thought of that! I wouldn't be able to walk around in here OR sit down if I did that! lol I'll call my youngest and have her run over this afternoon and pick it up for me. She's right there in his hood @ Arizona State. Was researching Danley applications and noticed they had a full install @ ASU. She's in their Sports Law Master's program there. Told me it sounded great in there at the games. I told her to keep an eye out for Danley boxes sitting around and to just load em up that I'd pick them up later. hahahahaha https://www.danleysoundlabs.com/portfolio/live-music-venues/arizona-state-university/ Just say NO!
  24. To sacrifice the 60" TV or not to sacrifice the 60". I somehow don't think the TV would work very well on top of it. After hearing a Danley system the solid room construction comment IS correct. Just say NO!
