    Batman Begins

best batman yet, plus they left clues as to thier next episode, plus this was done as an adult hero, instead of a comic book hero, well done
  2. it was so funny, john travolta never dissapoints, and rock it was so funny to see him play such a different character,he has a wider range than i gave him credit for, over all it cracked me up
  3. mediocre, if not for the effects it would have been a waste of money
  4. multidisc players are trouble to start with, and if you have to start out repairing, tham my suggestion is pass it by, the repairs could be more than the machine is worth, probable is, sounds like a bad deal to me, why buy some one elses problems?
  5. i am a cornerhorhorn owner, i used to be a cornwaller, why be in such a hurry to buy the khorns, especially since you do not know what they sound like? the cornwalls are such an awsome speaker, the khorns are better yes, but they do not have the cornwall punch, as soon as i can afford another pair i am going to buy another pair of cornwalls, just because they are that good, do not buy just on the bragging rights
  6. i use the terk edge, and it does improve signal in weak stations, keep in mind thaat it, and this goes for most antennas, the antenna will also amplify the interference, but once you find a sweet spot for the amplifier it can be a big help
  7. your 7's are far better quality than either integra or most sony products, but use them for now, just know that the 7's will give what you give them, and for now you will have them on a diet
  8. with yopur 5's and 7, i ust cant see using in wall speakers, you lose soooo mushin sound, asthetics just are not a compromise for quality sound, the in wall speaks, are so limited infewq response compared to even bookshelfs, but i guess it depends on what you expect from your listening experience, as far as 7.1, just go 5.1, with full range floor standers the rf'35 for example, and it will sound like 10 ot those tiny in wallers
  9. i think your dealer is doing good by you, i have had my dealers do the same and they earned my respect, and continued patronage, plus you will find around double the soundstage and output with the rf's over the rb's,good job
  10. thats cute "top" and "country " they dont belong in the same sentence
  11. there are several good directions you could go, but if you get good mains rf 7's. cornwalls than you reall do not need the sub to begin with, as an experiment. both of these speaks go very low on thier own, and the cornwalls can actually be felt as they hit thier lower end, and a pair of cornwalls can be had for the price of 1 rf 7 on ebay, and pesonally i prefer the cornwall, and than you would have 26-2700 to use for electronics, this would take you into the price range for a great b&k avr, these avrs take you out of the consumer grade into the audiophile grade, a very noticable improvement
  12. the denon and hk are both good pieces, it sounds to me like you need to do a litte foot work and do alot of auditioning, do not just go on opinion, we all have different hearing, how we expect our music to sound, so go out and suit your own listening style, while you do it you might just find more out there that you might like better than denon or hk, there are so many offerings, but do it with really familiar music, and do stay away from bargains, they are bargains for a reason, plus if you can, try to look at specks, brands like sony say 100 watts, and than you get into the specks and find that they only test 1 channel, why? because they only have i output transformer, and others state that all channels are tested, why, because they have 1 transformer for every channel, now which is better? hmmmmmm,m? another good thing is to go to review sites and get some other owners reviews, and do make sure that you audition the electronics on equal speakers, some places like circuit city has differing leves and qualit mixed and mis matched so you really are not listening to the system the way you should
  13. yeah, the wireless experience is for those who really do not care about sound quality, they are the same as phones, any little thing interferes with signal, motors, microwaves, televisions, bad weather, it is an asthetics thing, but why suffer quality for looks?
  14. plus your rear center is completly out of match, timbre you know
  15. depends on what your expectations are for sound, the front array is very respectable, but the rears are plainly too small, the 35's do not support the 7's at all they are a weak speaker, the rbs would be an improvement, but if you really wamt more from your 6 channel experience than you should try floor standers all the way around. the effects speakers do get freqs that are not supported by these tiny speakers, so thier seems to be a void in the rear, but a person really does not know or understand this until they actually connect the full range floor standers in place of the tiny rs's
  16. rf 7's deeper?, better soundstage? funny, ha ha ha
  17. ha ha ha what a fuuny coincidance, i worked nights for my first 20 years as an electrician, 18 months ago i went to nights just to stay employed, now because i am a single father i get 2-4 hours a day, between parental responsibilities, so i got my sennheiser headphone setup to help me, funny thing, they are so good that they are like a lullabye, give a good set of cans a try, they just seem to get the sandman working faster
  18. are you looking to get a good player, or save money, because you do not get both in 1 package, especially where life expectancy is involved, i have seen many friends buy 2-3-4 new cheapo players while my denon keeps on going and going, i wonder who ends up spending more in the long run?
  19. you iknow thw 10.5 is a good remote, but i got a higher end sony rm-vl900 learning remote and it is quicker and easier to use with all the same equipment the b&k handles, the b&k is better, but i only use the b&k for deeper avr functions, plus if you rread your manual you can do practically everything from the front panels on your b&k gear,or there is a website???????i think it is remotecentral.com
  20. just connect throught the tape out on your avr, and since you are using an avr another suggestion is the musical fidelity x can series preamps they are tube like in thier presentation and only set you back 3-325, and they are whisper quiet
  21. if you are looking for large scale paperwates they are great, but if you want even mediocre sound than spend a few extra dollars and get some entry level synergy speaks, blows earns its name for a reason
  22. there are quite a few really good choices in your price range, the pioneer 47ai, or 45a, a few good donons, just to mention a few, but stay away from thoise cheapos under 2-300 dollars they sound bad and are built to last for a shoert while, plus there is a saying that holds pretty true especially in audio, and that id you get what you pay for, i have heard the sonys, and even have one for my son, but i cant stand the sound... artificial, boomy like a boom box, missing frequency ranges..... it is a large list, stay away from sony
  23. no, do not match series, if you can stay quintet, the synergy center will not match, it will make your system seem out of balance........ really
  24. again i hate giving you bad news, but the 35 will be to small for either the rf 35's or 5's, it just will not give you a good soundstage, my first center for my original set up (now son's) was the rc 3, and it was very weak in ht, i had to have the volume turned way up for dialog, and than rush for the remote during dynamic sequences, sorry dude, but saving for a little while now ang waiting will keep you from having an rc 35 in the closet after you upgrade to the 7
  25. i have far less than optimal room size, but with your cornerhorns and las you will have an amayzing system, and the la does make an outstanding center for the khorns, and they should also do great as rears, just need to toe them to your liking
