  1. Speakerfritz lives very close to the water, hope all is well...
  2. I would say the LaScalas but they would need to be elevated and I don't think poles would do. Any of the amps , even the 4W would work but the higher power would be better for higher volumes. I have seen your garage and yes you have some extra speakers lying about.[]
  3. HA! That's no where near as cluttered as your garage used to be with consoles!

  7. Frank Drebin from police squad explained it best: Frank: It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day. Jane: Goodyear? Frank: No, the worst.
  8. You're giving your speakers away? What's the catch?

  13. EVERY Fluorescent light bulb contains mercury and is a vacuum tube. They are just not audio tubes.
  14. I had a heater bypass valve on firewall go bad (directs flow of coolant when on MAX) Coolant would drip on exhaust and vaporize, it would smell and the fluid would not hit the ground. When hot enough to leak exhaust was hot enough to boil away. Had to top off coolant once a week. VERY hard to trace.
  15. When did the format change ? I looked 2 days ago and thought I was looking at a funny phishing version of audiogon!
  16. The idea is to raise the frame evenly so that without the base you can get underneath it to turn the screws to level the suspension to achieve the correct bounce. I have used 3 identical large cans(tomato juice) to do it . you need room to get your hand/arm/ screwdriver under there freely.
  17. Great job by Jimmy but wouldn't Jim be about 450 lbs by now?
  18. talk to Craig A.K.A. Nosvalves, 600 between purchase and if serviced to spec is a great price. T he question is what service has been done to the amp??? What remains to be done?
