Quality was not at the forefront of this product line. ---------------- I don't understand where your getting at? Everyone knows the new Synergy is much better then the old lol, and I think it looks hella better as well.
  2. Yeah, I agree with the others...just go straight to the Signature/Signature EQ. Signature is one bad little mother, I still get amazed at the amount of air my Signature pushes in such a tine enclosure. That woofer is a site to behold!
  3. I dunno, but I know theEar's has a RSW tower. It Consists of a RSW-10,12, and 15 stacked.
  4. Wow! I just popped on some cans and tried it out, omfg wow! Sounds just like the real thing. I tried it on my loudspeakers, and it was impressive, but not so nearly as much as headphones. Maybe if I mess around with some stuff...
  5. You could prob. get a Sunfire Signature for $1500. Small with godzilla like sound. Does well with both movies and HT. This the newer version, same as mine...just with room measuring EQ, etc, etc. http://sunfire.com/TrueSubwooferEQSigPR.htm
  6. You may infact be getting the imfamous 60hz hum. Its electronic interference from unprotected outlets. (I think, someone else may know more about it) I've gotten it before, it sucks lol..so annoying. I just moved it somewhere else..no problems.

That being said Pioneers car stuff is pretty good, and yes they do make good headunits. Kenwood...bleh...

I won't say much about it either, except that the ending really tugged at my heart. Very real.... nothing "Hollywood" about this non-chick-flick love story. ---------------- Bingo lol. Damnit I wanna say just one little statement, but even that could give too much away. Peeps see it, the film making is first class, the actors/actresses played their roles with heart, and just everything about the movie kicks (admin edit)
  9. Well either way, im ordering one later on lol. That price just can't be beat for what your getting.

  11. I firmly believe that for the same driver and cabinet size that a properly implemented ported cabinet is the better bang for the buck. If you feel otherwise, then by all means plug your ports and A/B the difference. ---------------- I agree, I like my increased volume down low that you get with a proper ported system. By the way, anyone know a good program that I can use to help me with my car subs. I know for a fact that the ports are wrong in the sized boxes given. I built the box, and it just seems like something is wrong down low (like 25-30hz area)

But based off the specs, I'll call it a "improved" SWS, just looks like one all around. (The front firing woofer, the slot port, the enclosure, etc)
  13. Yeah, I think im gonna wanna replace my sats with the 3.5" RSX 3's. *Runs around too look at price* But admit Klipsch, thats a redesigned SWS
  14. I knew he was gonna miss it. Besides the fact hes a rooking trying to win in a OT playoff game, but he also looked like a scared 12 year old boy lol.
  15. Hell with that game, anyone watching the Chargers/Jets game. Chargers just missed a game winning field in OT, Jets ball again.
  16. Damn! She is quite outta shape in that picture. In my opinion, given her singing talent...I liked her much better when she was younger and had blond hair. Now, well...meh...
  17. You know who I like today among the crowd, Korn. You may or may not like their music, but they are VERY talented. Their rendetions are nothing short of amazing in this day of age. Hearing them do the like of Metallica or Pink Floyd just sends a chill down your spine. Even the solos, they pulled it off near flawless.
  18. They crossover over at 120hz, HOWEVER...due to the not so steep crossover (im guessing 6db an octave) I would opt for 130ish, so you can get a little more volume out of em.
  19. That might explain the reason for Halo 2's ending...interesting if true.
  20. Oh and reguarding Crutchfield, don't even look at them. While they are a very reputiable company, they are pretty overpriced on a lot of their items.

  22. Yeah, they are optimized for car use. But man, my friend had this set a while back. The excursion on these things were farkin unbelievable for the size. They had some LONG throw on em for 8's.
  23. As as Klipsch subs go, the quintets came with a KSW-10. However as far as newer, better models go. I would look into either the RW-8 or the RW-10. They will/should match the Quintets well. Klipsch from what I hear are making new Synergy subs. I hope they improved as much as the newer Synergy speakers. I had a taste of the new floorstanders and I was very impressed, much improved over the older series.
