Hey Islander I didn't realize you had a RX-V750 I have a 730, for HT I think it sounds fine for only $500 with a double warranty, a few years ago. I think they would work well with a separate amps, never did try it.

For what I was willing to spend I picked Yamaha also, if I were going to spend 2 or 3 times as much it would have been a different story. As far as the sound from the rear speakers I would guess like posted already the mix has much to do with it. Have you tried to set all the channels with a db meter, doing that would have the sound set correctly and if a certain movie does not have much sound from the rear channels it would have to be the mix.

Excluding slave labor or governments running a business to drive out competitors to corner a market any business owner does whatever they can to succeed How could anyone blame someone for having a successful business, if the business happens to be in China or anywhere else in the world. Any business is taking jobs from some other business or country somewhere. This is not meant as a political statement, just a general idea. Why would a legitimate business in China or anywhere be at blame if the cost of labor/living is lower there. What I was talking about with the Heresy and the Forte ll was hard to explain. I was expecting a bigger difference in sound, the Heresy has been around longer and was not really designed as stand alone speakers. " Which I guess isn't terribly suprising; Klipsch should sound like Klipsch " And they do, I guess it's the Klipsch voicing ? They sound a "little" different but still have the overall Klipsch sound. I guess I was just expecting more of a difference ?

Yea, it's like magic dude [:S], no I don't know how it works but it does. If you have one playing and have another in another part of the house, you just press a button and the second one plays the same thing. Wireless and I think up to 100', and thru walls with no problem.

I agree 100% ! The sound out of that little thing is very nice, I was very suprised at the quality of the bass from something so small. I even tried it on the patio and different rooms, sounds good wherever you put it. The Lady we are working for right now wanted something to replace her computer speakers that died, she only wanted them for music and she liked her i-pod. So one day we took the roomgrove to work and let her try it and she loved the sound. She liked it so much there is a new Klipsch customer now, it sold itself (not mine).

Hey Jay how you doing ? I really like the Heresy. The H lll has the same mid and high freq speakers as the C lll, just less bass then the Cornwall, so Heresy lll + your sub = [:|] To be fair, i have to say the only place I heard the RF-83 was at the pilgrimage, so to compare the 2, I can't. But we have Heresy 1 and 2 here and they are really nice and the lll is even better. Have you had any time to listen to the H lll again to compare to yours ? I have to tell you what we did when Groomlake visited and gave Buddy (my grandson) some H ll's. We went in my workshop and put the Heresy ll and the Forte ll on the table one on the left channel the other on the r. Except for the extra bass on the F ll I was very suprised with the little Heresy.

At least, now by law you can't just pump anything out a pipe into the air or dump whatever you want into a river or landfill .
