On this album, Krall's piano playing is not bad either. Somehow though, Krall has difficulty tapping into her live performance capabilities when in the studio... The lows from the bass just weren't there with just the CWs. As a note to the live vs studio comments: I agree I like Krall live better than studio. Another artist like this for me is Joni Mitchell. I fI dont warm up to it soon I may give it away to someone who wouild enjoy it. Just not my cup of tea. If I were chasing a new woman it would be a different story.
