kenratboy
Doggy, doggy, doggy! My kitty kat will SLEEP next to my dual 15" JBL Pro sub when it is ripping out some phat bass. Unless you are daft, you know cats have very sensitive sensory organs (more than sound) and they are "twitchy" (slam a door and they jump, ME-RAWWW) He doesn't seem to mind it and he can go anywhere away from the sub. Kind of funny, he HATES the vaccume like you wouldn't believe. ------------------ Receiver: Sony STR-DE675 CD player: Sony CDP-CX300 Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U Speakers: JBL HLS-610 Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8 Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs Yes, it sucks, but better to come. Voodoo chile
Kind of looks like a Mastif. My dog really enjoys auto races on TV more than any kind of audio. V

mpgwagon
Yep, she's a 9 year old Sharpei. If the Scala's are on that's where she lays. If I turn them off she gets up and moves! She doesn't do this with my KG's or SF's. I just can't make here understand where the "sweet spot" is, or maybe I should try her spot on the floor?? ------------------ http://gallery.consumerreview.com/webcrossing/images/MYSTUFF.jpg This message has been edited by mpgwagon on 03-28-2002 at 05:00 PM

Cornwalled
My cat actually crawled INSIDE my 15 inch subwoofer from port in the front! I didn't know she was in there at first, then I heard the speaker wire rattling inside and saw her crawl out. Fortunately it wasn't on at the time, although she's come up several times and sniffed the port when it is playing. Also, my cat that I used to have in Florida would sleep at the bottom of my Cornwalls, regardless of sound level, close to the port. What is it with cats and bass?
