Flason
Brian Setzer "Live in Japan", great big band swing. Pat Metheney's latest DVD is also DTS. ELO's Zoom is DTS. Joe Satriani may only be DD, but it sounds as good as most DTS I've heard.
boa12
i'm going to go ahead & get that santana from dvdplanet. (thanks guys - i know carlos is great ). i'm also going to put in for that new queen "a night at the opera". on pre-order (at reduced price) but supposed to be out this month. i haven't seen anything else out yet like this queen. it'll be audio only, dts 96/24 but playable on regular dvd video players (& of course you'll have to have the 96/24 dacs at least w/ either your processor or dvdp dacs to really get that high resolution sound). ------------------ My Home Systems Page This message has been edited by boa12 on 04-09-2002 at 02:10 PM

t-man
A couple of others: Roy Orbison - Black and White Night. An amazing sounding DVD with many musical guests. Has DD and DTS. Randy Travis - Only a Matter of Time. Excellent sounds on this, even if you aren't necessarily a CW fan. Has DTS and DD. Flason
Diana Krall "Live in Paris" is in DTS. Can't say enough good things about this DVD. Has got to be my new favorite. And she is HOT! Ziggy Marley has a DTS concert. Just don't get busted with that spliff. Ja Mon.
toddvj
Also Peter Frampton Live in Detroit, Sheryl Crow (don't know title) are DTS. Fleetwood Mac The Dance is awesome but not DTS, just DD. ------------------ My Home Theater
T2K
As t-man stated, I also enjoyed the Randy Travis DVD. Comparable to the Eagles HFO in sound quality, the Travis DVD plays loud on my setup.Turn it down before turning it on! Also,DVD-Audio(haven't listened to that yet). The Frampton DVD: OK. SCOOTERDOG
I have lots of DVD concerts. But the one that really stands out is Roger Waters In The Flesh. I saw this tour and the sound was amazing. The DVD is in DD and since the concert was in Quad it makes for a fine surround sound presentation. Shine on you crazy diamond is excellent. I reccomend this to anyone who likes Pink Floyd or just would like to hear a good live presentation. ------------------ Denon AVR 3801 Onkyo M504 Power Amp driving the mains Techenique A-10 DVD Audio/Video Player Pioneer DVL-909 Laserdisc/Dvd Player Dish Network Dolby Digital Sat receiver Klipsch La Scala ( Mains) Klipsch RFC5 Center Klipsch RSS6 Surround Side Klipsch RSS .5 Back surround Klipsch KSW 12 Subwoofer
