CECAA850
There's some really nice 3 channel Carver amps that pop up from time to time on e-bay. You might check there.

willland
I have posted these links on three different threads. These amps just rock. No affiliation. http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?ampsmult&1293725674&/Acurus-3x200-watts- http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?ampstran&1292768814&/Acurus-200x3-w/-pics- Excellent build quality, simple design, cool running, and makes woofers thump. http://www.audioreview.com/mfr/acurus/amplifiers/a200x3/PRD_115528_1583crx.aspx Bill
thebes
For 5 skins you can get a Fisher 500C and it's got tubes. Mucho good with Klipsch.
djk
Gee, I didn't know a Fisher 500C had three channels! (or is he supposed to buy two?)
Istari
I agree with Thebes. I have a Fisher 500C. Yes, it has 3 channels. 2 are active and one is a derived center from pulling off of both transformers. I use it to power my K-B-K setup. Fisher was gone over by Terry Dewick in Knoxville. It gets plenty loud!
djk
As long as your amplifier has a common ground (is not bridged), you can derive a L, R, mono C, and surrounds from a two channel amplifier.
thebes
I agree with Thebes. I get that a lot.[]

CECAA850
5 Skins.. is that fox or beaver? What an odd question, you should be pelted for that remark.
JJkizak
Ther is another Fisher model with the same power derived center channel (cheaper) ---maybe 202B or 100B? JJK
512nate
I am also seeking more power and see several Carver AV-705x on ebay pretty cheap... Would it be ok to go with the 5 channel amp pushing three speakers, or go with a 3 channel amp??? KLF-30's, KLF C7, Marantz SR 7002
CECAA850
I'd be tempted to go for the 5 channel amp in the interest of future proofing.
