Russell Brand interview:

You can see by the reactions of the interviewers that they find this Englishman to be strange and exotic, talking about him as if he's not sitting in front of them. He finds it very strange, but tries to be polite and sensible, in spite of their cluelessness and rudeness. You'd wonder how they would speak to someone who actually does come from a relatively exotic culture.

The description under the screen depicts Russell as being odd, but just shows the writer for the yokel he is, along with the interviewers. They don't have the wit to follow what he's saying. That may sound harsh, but you would expect that big-city TV personalities would have been exposed to a variety of people in their work, and wouldn't marvel at what their guest is wearing and comment among each other about how unusual he is.

The airline is not amused:

Really, the news reader and teleprompter operator must not be too bright. Those don't even look like Korean names. It should have been as obvious to them as it is to the rest of us that they were gag names.

I'm no expert in this area, however, isn't the design of this runway a challenge in itself, especially to a "non-seasoned" pilot? Yes, 1000's of landings have been made without any issues. However, to have a "sea wall" at the beginning of the runway that extends approximately 10 - 20 feet above sea level looks intimidating and potential fatal if not negotiated correctly. Some of you guy's that are pilot's may have a completely different take on this perspective.

Asiana is planning to sue the station because it says it's reputation was damaged by this newscast. What, like crashing a plane on landing and killing two people didn't damage it's reputation?

What a bunch of crap. They are pissed that they crashed a plane and are going to sue the talking heads, and yes, as this prank proves, they are called talking heads for a reason.

Try this: In Freudian psychology, displacement (German Verschiebung, 'shift' or 'move') is an unconscious defense mechanism whereby the mind substitutes either a new aim or a new object for goals felt in their original form to be dangerous or unacceptable.

Don't forget the pilot, Captain Sum Ting Wong, only had a grand total of 43 hours in that type of aircraft.

We had a crash here a few years ago where the blame was pilot error. Everyone on board died.

The pilot's actual name is Lee Kang-kook and the co-pilot is Lee Jeong-min. If they're going to be remembered, they might as well be remembered by their real names.

Incidentally, the most common family names in South Korea, in numerical order, are Kim, Lee, and Park. They make up 20 million persons, out of a total population of just under 50 million.

Michael Savage and his take on all of this.... lol..

"The Chinese something-or-other"? Now he sounds as stupid as her. And he sure is grumpy.

He's the same guy who said several years ago, that children with autism were children that simply lacked self-discipline...

It's all very well that people can express their opinions, but when speaking on a medical topic, or a legal topic, or other important type of topic, doesn't it seem like a bad idea that a person speaking on-air can say whatever erroneous thing they like?

TV is the prime source of news and information for lots of people, and when they hear stupidity like that, they accept it as fact, spreading ignorance instead of education.

An extreme example is the belief among some people in Africa that condoms cause AIDS. Some fool said that, more fools believed him, and now people are dying as a result of that misinformation.
