DizRotus
In order to mate my two latest addictions (a return to vinyl and chip amps) I need a phono preamp. Please contact me with details if you have such a thing available. Edited November 14, 2013 by DizRotus

Mike Lindsey
I'm not sure of your budget, but I would look no further than Craig's NBS! Of course I'm biased, but it is a truly world class preamp for the money. It's all about the phono, and delivers in spades. There are a few of us on here who have it, and I'm sure they would all agree with me... Mike

Marvel
Neil, I bought a cheap Audio-Technica phone pre a few years ago to go with my Merlin. I mean like $40 cheap. I found it to be absolutely super, with no SS noise that I can hear. Bad news is they no longer make it. I do have a schematics, though, and am thinking of making a second one to compare to the manufactured one. Would pair well budget wise with the chop amps you've been messing with. DizRotus
Bruce- Thanks for the suggestion. I'd like to hear how your DIY version compares. Thanks to billybob, the problem appears to be solved.
