Minnesota Sister
My brother died recently and left behind a pair of 1972 Khorns that need to be sold. They have the walnut lacquer finish, are collared (according to the type code), and have consecutive serial numbers (4K045 and 46). The cabinets are in good shape. There are a few marks on them and what appears to be splatters of wax or a similar substance on the rear top corner -- the spots come off easily with my fingernail and don't appear to have damaged the lacquer underneath. I have not attempted to hook them up to a music source to test them but have no reason to believe they are not in operating condition. One of the horns seems to have a small amount of corrosion around the nameplate. I'm asking $1,800 for the pair as is. I have not put them on Craigslist yet. Pictures below. I will be happy to take more and sharper pictures if there's interest in seeing more. I won't be able to ship these due to the size and weight. I know these were my brother's pride and joy -- he was an audio/video engineer in the broadcast industry and knew his electronics.

davis419b
You know that would take your heritage HT to the next level. Khorn rears And 904 fronts do not mate well ! If it wasn't for the damage to one of them I would be all over them as I have a friend that lives in Golden Valley. These would be a much better match to 68's than the 81's in my h/t system. Budman got the 69's that I tried to get that would have been a perfect match ! Edited June 12, 2014 by davis419b
