jimjimbo
That 1st night game there Vs. Notre Damn was classic. Yes, it was, and I'll be at the first night game at Notre Dame next weekend! As close as we are to the Michigan border, there will be a huge Maize and Blue contingent for sure!! Go Blue!!
Sancho Panza
That ND @ Michigan game is being re-aired on BTN at the top of the hour. This weeks schedule is weak, but a few potential good games: SC @ Stanford Mickey can Skate @ Organ Meeeeeee she gun @ Notre Damn Virginia Tech & an Ohio college... Boxx
Do we have any biggies coming up this weekend? Texas, without Ash, may be blown away by BYU....
JL Sargent
I hate it for Ash but health/safety has to come first, right? I don't know the answer. Many think his football days should be done. Maybe he could just sit out the next 2 or 3 and be good to go. It certainly doesn't feel right.
Boxx
I agree..... I look at it as if he were my son.... What would I tell him?
JL Sargent
Yes, there is life after football. I think we all agree on that. This kid has worked his a$$ off for this starting QB job with Texas and it apparently might slip right out from under him. I hope he can get straight and play later this season.
Boxx
I know that it was only one photo (in the Dallas MN) but the backup Swoopes has the worst throwing motion I've seen in years.

DizRotus
I just learned of Ash's concussion issue after watching Alex Avila get his bell rung and leave the Tigers vs Cleveland game. Having sustained many concussions, it's encouraging to see the new concern. Much better than, "rub some dirt on it" and get back in the game, Edited September 3, 2014 by DizRotus
Sancho Panza
I, too, have had too many concussions...

DizRotus
It is serious. That's why the NFL is sponsoring the Boston University CTE project. Shane Battier grew up in the neighborhood. His younger brother, Jeremy, went to Duke on a Football scholarship, but after too many concussions, he stopped playing football. Fortunately, Duke honored the scholarship.
Sancho Panza
The Surround Sound is Very Good on most of these games & I watch so many, thanks to HD DVR & re-air/4 TVs on Saturday, that it cuts out most of my Music listening.
