mustang guy
He should have said good to 10Hz at -60db from 100Hz. I'd guess the bad amp is the reason. In all seriousness, I wonder how it sounds in a car. Ya never know...
nitrofan
Most car amps are 4 ohm or less. Will that work well with that sub? Are klipsch powered subs 4ohm or
CECAA850
Most car amps are 4 ohm or less. Will that work well with that sub? Are klipsch powered subs 4ohm or 8 Technically, the amps aren't 4 Ohms or less. They can HANDLE a 4 Ohm (or less) load. It all depends on what load the driver presents the amp. Car subs can handle an 8 or 16 Ohm load but you never see that with a sub driver. I'd guess the Klipsch sub drivers are 4 Ohm drivers. The History Kid
Clean bass in a car... There's too much stuff that can rattle in a car.
jjptkd
142 db at 30 hz??? Response down to 10 hz?? I wonder where in the world he came up with these figures..? I'm sure it sounds better than most of the "Best Buy" car subs but I'm guessing he may be overstating its performance just a touch.
The History Kid
Realistically could you even differentiate - let alone hear frequencies down to 10 Hz?
angusruler
I believe because a lot of recent cars have 120v outlets.
CECAA850
let alone hear frequencies down to 10 Hz? No but you can certainly feel it.
Ceptorman
let alone hear frequencies down to 10 Hz? No but you can certainly feel it. That's probably more important!
