heyheyhifi
Hi guys, new to the forum here but I figured I'd reach out to this enthusiast community first with this sale. I have a mint RF-7 / RC-7 / RS-7 (4 each) and RSW-15 system all in light maple (the RS7's are in black) for sale. These are all still in the org. boxes and in flawless condition. Also included is a pair of RB-3's in maple (I used them as front effects with my Yamaha AVR on this system) and are also in org boxes in mint shape. The story on these is I purchased my life long dream system brand new from Tweeter Etc many years ago (wow, maybe 12-13 now?) but was only able use these for about 8 months before being transferred to "the city" (NYC) for my career. I couldn't afford an apartment in the city where I could properly use this system and I really didn't want to give them up, so I packed them back up and left them in my parents home in storage hoping I'd be able to use them one day. 3 kids and 12 years later I still have no room for these in my life and my kids would probably destroy them somehow anyway. I've come to the realization that I'll probably never use them again (as I listen to my crappy Sonos PlayBar these days!) As stated, these are truly in PERFECT condition, when they were opened, they lived in a kid, smoke, pet, UV free environment and the storage room they sat in all these years is temp/moisture controlled. I treated these like the fine wooden instruments they are. They are in Rhode Island currently and I'd like to sell this as one system (I can palletize and freight anywhere in the country for around $200.00, it all fits on one skid.) I really don't know what these are worth but in my heart I'd like to get $3,000.00 for the whole system as is (feel free to tell me if I'm out of my mind and make an offer). I can send pics of the boxes if needed but I'd prefer to not open these monsters if I don't have to. Please let me know if you have any questions. The History Kid
Would you be willing to split up at all? If so...what prices would you be looking for? Interested in the RS-7s maybe and the RSW-15.

Tremors
Would you be willing to split up at all? If so...what prices would you be looking for? Interested in the RS-7s maybe and the RSW-15. Noticing the distance between you two I'd strongly advise against shipping an RSW-15, even in it's original box. Unless it is palletized. These buggers are heavy and delivery drivers aren't nice to things that make their lives harder. heyheyhifi
To be clear this sale is for one pair of RF7's, one RC7, 2 pair of RS7's, 1 RSW-15 and one pair of RB-3's. All maple except for the RS7's, those are black. They were brand new "A stock" when I bought them (retail sale at Tweeter) I might split up the system but not at this time. I really feel like someone will want to whole deal, if not I'll entertain a split up in a few weeks. I'll ask my father to take some pics of the boxes but he's not able to pull the towers and sub out of the boxes to snap pics of. I can probably do that when I visit them in a week or so. heyheyhifi
I agree with "Tremors", I feel much safer shipping these on a pallet.
The History Kid
All good on both counts.

Your price of $3000 is reasonable and fair. The $200 total shipping cost seems very fair too. You could pay $70-100 per RF-7, RSW-15 easily. The History Kid
If my brother wasn't such a stickler with "sell everything in a week after you get it"...I'd buy the lot and sell the pieces I wasn't using. Glws nice setup from the sounds.
