The Dude
For those who are on the fence, the table tuba is a real performer. Compare to my thspud, it was more efficient. Now I didn't give my spud full power. But if all you have is 50-100 watts the table tuba is a nice addition for the price.
sean5340
I'm curious about the sound on the Yamaha. The specs look nice. It could be a good match for my JBLs. How is the phono stage on this? Edited March 3, 2015 by sean5340
bhenry
I'm curious.......how does one provide power and blending (crossover/volume/phase, etc.) for these? I have a KW-1000-THX amp, would either of these work with that amp? Thanks.

How is the phono stage on this? Not too familiar with the sound of the phono stage, i spent little time with just to make sure it worked truthfully. From my experience with the amp it has a very nice midrange and neutral highs. Edited March 5, 2015 by jason str

bhenry
Hmmmmmm. I'm quite tempted to try that coffin for $375. How sweet is it?
jason str
Any true audiophile would be proud to have one in their collection. Once you hear a horn loaded subwoofer you will never want to go back to anything else.

jason str
The long style Table Tuba is just a raw driver as shown in the bottom picture.
