The greatest living Bluesman?

With the very sad passing of BB king, I was thinking who is now the greatest living Bluesman? In my opinion, it's Buddy Guy. I know some who feel he was the greatest before BB King died.

I saw Buddy Guy last year at The Britt Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon. He was "opening" for Peter Frampton which was a joke. Anyway, I believe he's 78 and can still keep up, play and entertain with the best of them! Even my wife liked his performance better and she's a big Frampton fan.

The King is gone, long live the King!

Robert Cray

Good call Travis.  Often mistaken as an R&B player, Cray may be one of the truest electrified blues players in the business.

By name recognition, yeah Buddy's got the lead, especially if you confuse blues with rock and roll, but for the true blues purists, it's a flip of a coin between

Taj Mahal (past his peak) and

Keb' Mo', the most awesome delta blues player on the planet, and the Taj's heir.
