USNRET
The exorcisms continue; a couple of tips for you with Craftsman/Chamberlain openers: Wife's garage would open but not close via remote or remote keypad; worked fine with wall button. No issue with safety switches just ZERO response other than opener receiver LED flashing when remote activated when door was open.New battery, no joy. Many code dumps and re-learns, no joy. Using my garge remote, learned; no joy. Noticed that the wall button light was out; replaced wall button, light on but open not close with remotes, button works fine. After several attempts the opener failed to open or close via remotes. Swapped logic boards between garages; works fine. Logic board bad; ordered from amazon Deduction: wall button diodes failed which damaged logic board Hint: the instructions to learn remote codes on opener with PURPLE learn button are incorrect. Procedure that works is to press and hold remote button then press and release purple learn button; there will be a click and light bulb will flash. The instructions have you hold BOTH remote and learn button until opener LED flashes (this is wrong). Also, to learn the opener MUST have completed cycle (opener incandesent bulb must cycle to OFF, it wil not learn with bulb lit). I am sure the next seance will not be far in the future
