Woofers and Tweeters
<Edit> They look like Chorus II to me. The wide terminal box?? But the Chorus is 39" tall where the Forte is 35ish Edited January 1, 2016 by jweber

wvu80
I feel unsettled when the experts can't agree. But whatever they are, for 300 bucks, someone should go get them. Edited January 2, 2016 by wvu80

jjptkd
Only the Forte 1 had the 12" passive and they had either the round input cup on the early models or the longer tall rectangle cup like in the picture above.
willland
Only the Forte 1 had the 12" passive Quartets have 12" passives also I'm pretty sure. Photo looks to be forte I's. Bill
jjptkd
You are correct, the Forte 1 and Quartet have the 12" passive. What I was saying is that it has to be the Quartet because of the input cup on the back. The Forte 1 used a round one in the early years then switched to the tall rectangle one as pictured above so these have to be Quartets by default.
billybob
Actually James, I saw yesterday and dismissed as Forte 1 but, blowing it up, looks a little like A Chorus!!. 15 inch passive? Will have to look at the rear of one again. Now that Quartets introduced, not as certain. In any case, maybe passing up a deal . LOL Wonder haow tall a Quartet is? Thought 30 inches. No expert here.

Chorus is 39" Forte is 35" and Quartet is 31" It was the size and shape of the terminal box and the size and location of the PR that made me say Chorus II. I never owned Quartet.....yet.

Grizzog
My new guess is Forte I. The space between the top of the passive to the top of the cabinet looks larger than on my Quartets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
