training cats

Cats are typically most active at dusk. Try letting him out at dusk and maybe go out and watch what he is up to. Make his food and let him know the food is ready and he will come home when he is hungry enough. Maybe then he will get his outdoor fix and be better at night.

My little boys/ Girl are all sleeping under blankets in the LR as I type.

They usually eat dinner at 5:00, today earlier to calm them down because Mom has a migraine and in bed.

We buy the 10 lb bags of chicken leg/ thighs on sale for like 6$. every 2/3 weeks.

Boil and debone them, mix with about 5$ frozen brocolli and 3 lbs fresh cooked carrots,  add a bit of rice, and baggie freeze for dinner for few weeks.

Micro every eve, soupy,  add good quality dry food            Lars

The previous statements about the cage would be my vote as well.

Outdoor feral cats after being locked for some time in shelters are thrilled to get out of the cage and normally behave so not to go through the process again.

Cats are creatures of habit, you will need to break that habit.

It will not happen overnight, it will take time and patience but it should pay off in the long run.

The unconditional love of a pet is priceless.
