We were just leaving a convenience/gas station/restaurant/meeting place (hey it’s Grove, OK) when in walks Leon, looking his typical scruffy self. We look at each other, liked to shitt ourselves, mumbled a “Hey” to Leon and got a mumbled “Hey” back. He cruised NE OK a lot in the late sixties, early seventies— Wish could say that...instead, went behind stage and met Leon's.daughters...needless to say was pretty... thanks 1 1 Quote

JohnJ Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 Seen two versions of that movie, both have had good musicians performing in it Paul. Things have been busy here for me this week but winding down tonight with some dreamy free flowing Pink Floyd. Tried getting a replacement a while back but the copy I got had a bad invisible scratch that was almost an entire minute into "Echos" This copy is good to go! 4 1 Quote

He got a new effects pedal, and unintentionally hooked it up backwards, going from his guitar to the Out sockets, and from the In sockets to his amplifier. When he played with it like that, he liked what he heard, and he included it in the song. Most listeners, including me, thought it sounded great, along with the rest of the song. Echoes is one of my favourite Pink Floyd songs. 3 Quote
