Vinyl - Record Spinning

In the Eye of the Storm is the first studio album by British pop/rock musician Roger Hodgson, who was a founding member of the British band Supertramp.

The musical style found on In the Eye of the Storm is often referred to as progressive art pop, and is partly reminiscent of the Supertramp style of the 1970s. Keyboard sounds (especially in In Jeopardy and Give Me Love, Give Me Life) and staccato piano sounds repeatedly stand out as the main instruments, while other instruments, such as Supertramp's typical wind instruments (e.g. saxophone), fade into the background. The most famous songs of the album are Had a Dream (Sleeping with the Enemy) (with just under 8½ minutes the second longest song on the record), whose video, for example, was often shown by MTV, In Jeopardy, as well as the ballad Lovers in the Wind (with just over 4 minutes the shortest song) and the bombastic-symphonic Only Because of You (with just over 8½ minutes the longest work).

Ekseption was a Dutch rock band active from 1967 to 1989, playing mostly-instrumental progressive rock and classical rock.

I read somewhere that they got the idea to mix classical music with rock from a British band called the Nice

I have a couple of Ekseption albums one is The 5th

This Seconds Out pressing is very good and Bill Bruford makes a great addition with contributions on percussion and drums

Mike - Was the Genesis archive released on LP ?

I have so many original LPs that I’m not sure if I need any more 🤪
