But the system still sounds great even if the tree is obstructing one speaker

Turn it up!  Might work but prolly not so ya get even by moving ornaments around on the tree.  I can guarantee she'll notice that.  If not just point out an ornament and ask if it shouldn't go up just a bit or left and right.  That works well  😇   😂

Here in Belgium, we're waiting with the Christmas Tree until after Saint Nicolas has visited the homes and brought presents to the children, which is on the December 6th.

So you all are the reason I get coal every year on December 25th?  Yea, I get it.  Thanks!  😂

Werkin hard here today loading up this cabinet.  Buddy stopped for moral support so I ran the table on him again.  I knew he'd be in my Heineken and laffin at me movin & alphabetizing the remasters over to the cabinet.  Sooooo, there ya go.

Started w/some Eric Burdon & War into just War and had his attention.  hahaha  Lil Willie Dixon & Link Wray and he'd realized he just spent 4.5 hours watching me work and he was trashed.  lol  Yup, he bailed.  lolol  He got the full shot today cause I played both sides of everything.  Yea, I'm like that  :)

THEN in the middle of it all I get this txt msg:  "Hey man, you alphabetizing albums yet?"  Now just wth did he think I'd be doing after OSU got their butts kicked in that football game yesterday???  😂  Thanks for that John!  😂

Time to unzip!  After he left I decided to throw on this lp by Adele.  I'd heard cuts in the car with my daughter in Phoenix and asked who it was.  Gave it a shot, which was a major change of pace.  Simply amazing even though my copy was loaded w/a low hum.  THAT gone it would have been even more amazing.  Yea, it's worth it though me thinks.

HAD to get this one to "one up" @billybob!  😂  I'd have bought it anyway though.  :)

Shocking Blue was a Dutch rock band formed in The Hague in 1967. They had a number of psychedelic rock hits throughout the counterculture movement during the 1960s and early 1970s, including "Send Me a Postcard" and "Venus", which became their biggest hit and reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and many other countries during 1969 and 1970. The band sold 13.5 million records by 1973 but disbanded in 1974.

Here in the west of Belgium, it's raining hard, with floods (again).

I decided to play Rain, Rain, Rain, the very first single my parents had in the house (the got it free when they bought their turntable (used)).

If you are using a gel to clean your stylus... DON'T!

One should clean styli mechanically (brush), and records with demineralized water.
