mobile homeless
I remember seeing that monster ad awhile back and taking a step back at the collection... the guy must have two basements and a hell of an attic! The good thing is he apparently is willing to break the motherload up, as evidenced by the wording of the ad. So, if anyone is interested in less than the full truck load, you are still in luck. Then again, it's coming from quite aways away. kh
Gregorius
I think he wants $21,000 for the whole lot. Greg
mobile homeless
Here is the actual list with a few corrections. Notice the bold in the first part of the description, leading me to believe he will separate the gear if need be. Regardless, it is an amazing list with MANY great choices. His shipping is very fair. I bet you he does break it up as I dont know anyone that will plop down $21k for that. Description Here is the list of my collection. sunnysal
For me the shipping from Colombia won't be too much...hey mobile, what would be the greatest prizes from that lot? what are the best units? thanks, tony
TheEAR
Olny $21000 US for all these amps! Its a bargain,I would ready the 21 grand if I had the sapce.A real steal even if shipping costs 10K. This is IF the amps are in good condition and working. Yes I think the drug Lord has to tighten his belt too,the poor guy. Some are less fortunate then we are. Still if some of you are interested I would be ready to buy a few amps from Mr Escobar. LOL I thinks its also a lure and the amps are full of flour,if youb know what I mean. LOL Maybe I am wrong and the man just wants to donate his collection at a small fraction of the initial cost to someone who will take care of it. In any case the owner has one of the most impressive collections I ever saw.
Jim Cornell
We need to get real, and look at the logical facts!! LOL Where would you place all this gear? Jim

NOSValves
He has to be a Drug dealer who else in Columbia could afford so many amps or a building to put them in ??
@silverfox@
No speaker,TT,CD,all peices must be pretine, Must be few who could use a amp or two. Buy in bulk split the cost, just a thought. Craig 299 is still opening up new avenues to explore. will be intresting to see if it could take the premier spot in your collection, leaving mobile to acquire a 299 from you, eico 81 alk's la salse nice. woh is game anti-up. TheEAR
You know what? This guy MUST be selling "flour" by the kilo.Who on earth has the space to put all this gear?I have only a dozen subs and 8 power amps and 17 pairs of speakers, two rooms are full of gear! Poor poor "flour" lord, parting with all the amps.I bet he prefers the sound of his semi-automatic toys.LOL See how bad is the world economy! Even mean street master cappos hurt! mobile homeless
Earz, when are we going to see a picture of your listening room with those FPB Krells (and your likeness standing within the harum)? After that 17 pairs of speakers comment, I am beginning to wonder if you live in Quebec, The Imaginary Forest!

mike stehr
Okay, Why would a drug lord have any interest in a buttload of vintage tube audio gear? Is there a giant underground market here? Seems like a rich drug lord would be into top dollar solid state or something. He's from Colombia, he must be in the Cartel, label him now! But if he is, then he should give his gear to the poor.
