I bought an Eminence Apt tweeter, near the standard specs.

Only the horn is different.

Unfortunately apt150 is out of stock.

I'm looking for it!

The only alternative available is apt80 with circular horn.  🙄🙄

Not sure where you are buying it but current APT driver is not the same as originally used in Klipsch mods. In the meantime (few years ago) Eminence changed to some Chinese supplier and this is actually different driver even though it looks similar. Somewhere here there is Bob Crites thread with measurements of this new one, and it looks inferior.

Yes i read, unfortunately buying in usa is very expensive. And in europe this is the available tweeter. I'll try this, but in future i can upgrade all the system with multicellar horn for example 😁😁

when you buy something from Europe, is it also expensive like for me  buying in the USA ?

for me, the price is x 4 the initial price when i want to buy something in the USA, for example 2 k-401 horns or 2 Dave A SmallH horns for B&C de120 drivers

How does this turn into a 300% price increase? Shipping is pretty bad to some places and approaches $85 but unless there is a huge import fee I don't see how it gets a price tag like that. Oddly enough the worst country I have had to deal with has been Canada. Expensive, slow and they damage things.

yes too many fees ... and shipping cost

for example when i buy something that has an initial price from 100$, i add the shipping costs (for example 50$), the international fees (i don't know how much - it depends on the items bought) and then, on my island they take percent of the total price item + shipping cost.  for hifi, something like 25% of 150$ (100+50) + 8,5 % for the county (departement in my language)  + 2% for the custom services ...

Fortunately I found midrange in italy.

Woofer in deutschland

And tweeter in france.

For me buying a used tweeter in alnico (or woofer) it'a a bad idea: alnico magnet demagnetized after some years....
