It was a good movie but not a happy movie.

There is something awkward about Newman and Hanks roles which is unusual for them. Not the classic good guys here. Hanks is in a situation where he has a good job doing not quite good things to feed his family.

It was interesting to me that the settings were in the Chicago area and surronds, my home town these days. With the right camera angles and locations, the surrondings of the depression era can be found.

There is really little reason to buy anything before renting unless you're a fan of the stars.
