sputnik
OK. This is not a "word for word" translation but it fits the tune "........Doesn't want to travel on Because she hasn't, Oh no, she hasn't Marijuana for to smoke." C'mon, step on it. sputnik
More English lyrics. "When a fellow loves a maiden And that maiden doesn't love him, It's the same as when a bald man Finds a comb upon the highway." Or in Spanish. "Cuando uno quiere a una Y esta una no lo quiere, Es lo mismo que si un calvo En la calle encuentr' un peine."

Tom In Montana
Si, si!!!! Ay carumba! Your turn Tom. Turn? I just stumbled in here and saw the question. Guess I messed up a long running thread here huh? Didn't notice it was 50-some pages. Golly... I'm just working late on a report and wanted a break. Now look what I've done. And all my old vinyl is packed away yet from our recent move in... Oh, wow is me.. Hey Mark, I know it's an imposition but could you grant me a pass and put up another of your own? My brain is really fried. Thanks. If not..............someone else? Sorry about the intrusion. I'm so embarrassed. [:$] but not really. Jeff Matthews
Too bad I was asleep when you all struggled over LaCucaracha. Down here, close to Mexico, it's played at least hourly on the radio. [] Okay, Sputnik. What's with the neat/shave your legs clue?

colterphoto1
Perhaps a rereading of the rules is in order for us newbies.... " Rules: No cheating. This can be fun unless cheaters destroy it. Give lyrics of about 10 words minimum to national classic rock artists (no local no-names). Winner gets to post his own lyrics. And the game plays on.... No cheaters (The answers are all over the net. The game gets destroyed too fast.) If you break down and cheat, don't post the answer and spoil the challenge. The song only needs to be identified w/certainty (exactness is not critical; artist is not required). If the song is correctly named but the artist is not, the answer is still correct. If the guess is correct, the person correctly guessing has within 10 minutes to post a new set of lyrics as a challenge. "Thanks for playing,Michael
jacksonbart
Here is one "The wretched desert takes its form, the jackal proud and tight In search of you, I feel my way, though the slowest heaving night Whatever fear invents, I swear it make no sense I reach through the border fence"
