djk
I've known Russel for many years, bought and sold equipment without any qualms. He's a square shooter. If he was rude, it's a first (unlike me).

Marvel
Dennis, Thanks for the link. I figured those drawing would be there, but am showing how lazy I am. I wouldn't say you are rude. Direct perhaps. [] Bruce
Parrot
These are too much of a good thing for a house. These are for pro-sound applications, not for living rooms. It'd be like buying a front loader to plant a daisy.
lovemyhorns
I almost bought a pair of these one time... but I figured the Khorns were big enough. It was very tempting though, especially at $4000.
arfandbark
$6100.00 + and 22 hours to go yet. Pretty serious money......
Daddy Dee
Wow, I had no idea what these things are worth. Also, browsed the high bidders feedback, which is escellent... and indicates he is in Australia. The guy must have some bucks for shipping, too. I'm impressed. ranjith
When I first came across this on ebay, not in my wildest imagination did I think it would go for this much. Must be quite the speaker, atleast it better be for that kind of money.
TheEvan
If anybody needs me to I suppose I can go over and have a look/listen for you as I'm in Baton Rouge. I know Russell, having done a few trades with him a number of years ago. He's acutely strange but knowledgeable and harmless. He's not going to out and out rip anybody. DizRotus
Now eBay indicates that the auction was ended as the item is no longer available.
Duke Spinner
you can buy a LOT of plywood ..............for 6 grand
Parrot
Yeah, but it's more than just wood. You'd also have to buy glue and nails. Jubilees would be a better bet for a home environment.
fini
I wouldn't be too concerned about the size of these. Just like the Klipschorns, they practically disappear when tucked into the corners...
IndyKlipschFan
Don't forget screws... Paul.. Just not so sure for HOME speakers...who got more I have no idea?

Evan, Hope you have a chance to check with the seller. Maybe he had a local sale that worked out.? I think if I were selling these I'd start to worry about the high bidders actually completing the transaction.

colterphoto1
Now eBay indicates that the auction was ended as the item is no longer available. This wouldn't be the first time a sale of MCM's ended bizarely. Seems like no one can ever get these sold. Wasn't this same pair listed last year and it ended up a 'no sale'. Who is this joker kidding? Michael
