colterphoto1
Hey gang, as a lot of you know, I can't drink, so I'm looking for any good drink or punch recipies that are made without any alcohol (I know, it sucks, but you wouldn't like the results if you fed me a drink!). Maybe something with cinnamon/spice, a hot toddy type drink or ??? Thanks Michael
customsteve01
I know you can make Wassal (sp?) without any booze in it. Its pretty good. I would think almost all punches and such could be made and just skip adding the alcohol. When I talk to Caroline later I will get her to give me one or two. I know she will have some recipes rolling around in her head and can just rattle them off. Steve

Marvel
Well, I love eggnog, but then I like buttermilk on occasion. Had some wassail at church caroling party once. It was too stout for my tastes even. Michael, some hot cider with cinnamon is good. Bruce

Daddy Dee
That recipe for wassail looks good. An easy suggestion, and something that we serve in my house is spiced cider. It is as simple as apple juice served hot with cinnamon candy stirred in with the juice warming up in the saucepan. Add red hots or cinnamon mints to taste. Another possibility that is really quick. You can find "spiced cider" single packets (like the hot choclate packets) in the grocery. Nice for a single cup or two. It's very good as well.
