RoseRx
I recently bought the following Klipsch speakers from a local individual for $1,200. They are a few yrs old, however, but in great condition. RF-5 tower spkrs (cherry) x 2 RB-35 bookshelf spkrs (cherry) x 2 + pedestal stands RC-3 center spkr (black) x 1 RSW-10 sub-woofer (black) x

RoseRx
Fish, Thanks for the encouraging words. From the stats on your system, it puts mine to shame. P.S. I also P/U a Yamaha RX-V1 A/V receiver for $800 from the same guy.
colterphoto1
Yeah, you did great, that system should easily be worth a few hundred more than that. You got a good balanced system and the seller didn't have to part it all out. Congratulations on your Klipsch purchase. Welcome to the madness. Audible Nectar
As is occasionally asked on this forum when a deal like this comes along: Were you wearing a mask when you conducted this transaction[]? I ask that because you STOLE them at that price.......nice deal!
Daddy Dee
What would be the cost of this setup new?
wstrickland1
What would be the cost of this setup new? I would guess somewhere in the $2700 range.
Shade
Considering what you paid is around what a new pair of RF-5s cost, I'd say you got a heck of a deal. Think of it as buying RF-5s and getting surrounds, stands, center, and a sub for free.
scott0527
You must have bought them from some guys in a white van outside of Home Depot[]
kenratboy
Killer deal - for what you paid, if you bought new Klipsch, that would have been the price for a entry level Synergy system - you have mid-end Reference. Well done.
RoseRx
What's up w/ Axiom spkrs? They look nice & are priced right, but I noticed that they don't have the mass of the Klipsch.
MarkBK
Great deal! As it was said already, that's the cost of the RF5's alone!
