Daddy Dee
Earlier on in this thread, my response was "nah!" Probably would be more correct to say I am an agnostic on ghosts. I don't have any energy about denying their existence, just don't know. If I were to have a convincing experience as to the existence of ghosts, I'd be o.k. with that... though it would still be something of a "so what?" It's one of those things that would be interesting, but not important, IMO. I do believe in angels, though.

ottscay
I suppose it depends on how you want to define "existence". The emotional experiences people have when they encounter ghosts (or angels) are unquestionably real, but I don't believe either exists in some ontologically independent way outside of our heads. Or put another way: A tree that falls in the forest with no one around still makes a sound, but ghosts (and angels) only exist when human minds are present to "observe" them. Deang
I believe in them, but properly refer to them as "familiar spirits".
Colin
I've had spooky expereinces that I can't explain, but never in the light of day. I thought the Bible was full of ghosts and demons, or have they expluinged all of that out now so there is only the Holy Ghost? What's up with that anyway? Are you supposed to worship a ghost? When? On Halloween? Or is this another criss-crossed Catholic mythology?
