Every once in a while, I smell perfume, and somehow feel comforted by it. The smell, while faint, is always the same (and in the same room), and is not dependent on a window being open. I also live alone. One evening last summer I smelled the distinct odor of a man (first and last time so far), and felt completely uncomfortable, with my hair standing on end. My dog, who was sleeping, jumped awake, lunged at me, and backed into the dining room, barking ferociously. Then he peed on the floor (never any other accidents, ever), and ran outside. As much as I tried, I couldn't even get my dog back in the house for over an hour. A few weeks after this, my father stayed with me for a weekend, sleeping in the guest (ghost) room. He woke up in the middle of the night, later describing to me that it felt like someone was beating him from his chest down to his knees. What am I suppose to be looking at? just past half way through the clip a figure that looks like a shadow moves through the middlw of the room. it's easiest to catch it if you use the slider bar and move the video frame by frame. j-malotky Posted April 6, 2006 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Yes There is definetly spyware in there AVI!!!!! I just ran spybot and cleaned up my machine. The port hopping has stopped. I just checked my logs and it started when I ran the AVI and stopped when I cleaned my machine. If you ran this AVI, run spybot or something else to clean spyware off your machine. I'm not saying that I do believe in ghosts, but I'm not saying that I don't believe either. If they do stuff like that all the time, I sure as heck don't want to find out for myself anytime soon. I was living in an apartment building called The Crossings it was adjacent to some railroad tracks. My wife and I were sleeping and all of a sudden the closet light flicked on, it was freaky. I got up and turned it off and thought it was just a power surge or something that caused the switch to turn on. Well is was not until I stopped over to one of the neighbors apartments and was chatting with the folks there, and having a beer that I mentioned the closet light and their eyes got as big as saucers apparently the supernatural prankster had done the same thing to them on a number of occasions. psypathic Posted April 7, 2006 Share Posted April 7, 2006 I don't know about ghost but one time I was fishing with two of my buddies on a very small remote lake. The wind stopped and out of no where I heard what sounded like a truck horn only about 100 times louder(felt in chest) and it came from every direction. Really freaky. I know no one was playing a trick on me because only me and the property owner know about the lake and he was out of town. It scared the crap out of us. DD, Are you sure they are not just Bose owners - it can be very hard to tell but if you watch carefully Bose owners blink from time to time. Nice Oh if you google "weird nj" you can be linked to a magazine website that publishes weird things and places that happen to happen well in New Jersey. Old folk stories about the NJ Devil and Army bases that did the NIKE program. Also haunted places are the best when you 17/18 a senior in high school and have a car!
