Moderators dtel Posted January 8, 2007 Moderators Share Posted January 8, 2007 Nice packaging, and no holes in the boxes. If it were me I don't think I would have stopped opening long enough to take that pic. Nice car, not many of those left around anymore. Chicago_Pete
sweet speakers and sweet ride Pete...when will these be on sale??? [][] Bill Bill, You have been to my house. No way will this modest Chicago bungalow support two pairs of Khorns, one pair will have to go. It's really a coin toss at this point. I like the wood color better on Joe's but I dig the cane on my 64's. They both have equal character marks so in closing I dont know what the hell I'm going to do:)
oldbuckster
What's under the hood of the Goat??? Are those pre-owned speakers, or new??

How about a pair of VRD's and lifetime free service on all your tube gear[] Craig, You dont want that car. 500HP on the motor, 472CI Big Block Chevy plus two stages of 150HP nitrous oxide shots. Think of how many disappointed customers you would have if you piled it up and got hurt:)

Chicago_Pete
Great looking. Which freight co. was used? Craters & Freighters, Initially thought they were too expensive but after seeing the great packaging job I'm a happy guy. Picked them up in PA on Thursday and they showed up yesterday before noon, door to door, 600 beans.

OB, I had a 383 stroker in a 66 Nova that I sold at the beginning of last summer. Peppy little engine but no substitute for cubic inches. Weight and handling is never a factor for me because quite frankly all these 40 year old cars handle like crap anyway:)
Chicago_Pete
$1000.00 just in the packaging. JJK Nope, $600 total door to door, packaging and shipping. All I did was pick up the phone. After calculating renting a truck, gas, and time spent, it was fine with me.
