On my Mac, I "open with" and chose NeoOffice and it worked, but NeoOffice is an add-on so IDK what one would open it with natively on a mac. I've only been with the glorious Mac OS X for 6 months and have yet to delve into it that much.

It's my understanding Colter has a Mac. Where is he? :)

I am scared of the liability waiver!!! [:P]

Me too. I'll probably end up disabled, a drooling, bumbling rambling shell of a man who can only utter 'jubilee'

Make no mistake, there are those who have never fully recovered. You will be meeting many of them!

Tom...try this...if you have Microsoft Word...I couldn't open it either...UNTIL...go to your Microsoft Word on your desktop or wherever you have it...I bet it is sitting in there all fine and pretty...in fact...if you are like me, it is in there more than once...go to the one on top (the others are usually failures 'cuz your computer is trying to tell you, "I downloaded this already"...give it a try...

Thanks, I tried that and no luck.

Here's the error I keep getting:

"The document name or path is not valid. Try these suggestions:

* Check the file permissions for the document or drive.

*Use the File Open dialog box to locate the document.

(C:\WINDOWS\desktop\Pilgrimage.doc)"

The file is 808k and the DOS name is .doc .

This is getting perplexing...[^o)]

I promise you it's just a simple Word file. Really. Nothing complicated.
