BigStewMan
Groomslake--when is the Hamms review coming? Just joking, of course. do they even sell that anymore? Hope things are well in that part of the country--Socal is very hot today. I'm a lager man and am drinking a Moosehead now--it is very nice. billybob
Well another long week "Down On The Farm"! Heard that lonesome Whipporwill & GF came in with another surprise, this time without asking. A nice cold Icehouse - rated at alc,. 5.5 volume, it speaks it's message.....

Groomlakearea51
Dang grooms you in some kind of "beer of the day" club? Burp!? Who said that?... [H][<)] Not really... Just going through a collection that I begged, borrowed, bought, had friends in most of those places go get and send to me. I'm down to about 4-5 cases of those brews and if I don't polish them off this year they will go stale. Inly kind I have left are US micro breweries. Overseas stuff is long gone and way to expensive anymore.

Groomlakearea51
OB: I truly can sympathize! Ice cold O'Douls? Didn't St. Pauli or one of the German imports also have something non-alc that tasted great. What about Sam Adams Light? Anybody have any suggestions for a "substitute" to keep OB happy in his hopefully temporary condition?

billybob
Some here may have had older brothers, uncles.. who professed that their doctor actually recommended a couple of brew to flush their kidneys, etc. If that is ever presented to me as a rec. by a doc, I'm going to see if I can get that in writing, say a prescription. The low alcohol content brews may be a thought, if nice and cold. Certainly that Old Mil, I talked about on a hot day can go straight to your head, but lower content(?) makes it a not a big deal. My dad didn't drink, but he did know that "1 beer called for another!" He got that right! Sortof hard to compete with a Rolling Rock, especially when you may prefer them.
