BigStewMan
what about ryan leaf? he gave us the best locker room meltdowns, and was possibly one of the greatest disappointments--with honorable mentions to mr. mandarich and mr. bosworth. BigStewMan, You stole my choice Cryin Ryan Leaf LOL[]. Overall I'd have to go with Frantic Francis Tarkenton myself. He was great in Minn and his line in NY was a joke yep Fran is my choice.[Y]

mdbrien
Well, having a great O-line, running backs, and incredible receivers helps a bit, ya think? To be the best, you have to be able to take a shot to the face, shake off a concussion, wipe the blood off, get back into the huddle I agree with DeanG, that's why I say Archie Manning
cmdridq
Considering Marino did not have complete teams behind him like most of the other superstar QBs, I think he did an amazing job. Some of the Miami defenses he played with were horrible, yet he still found ways to win.

Moderators dtel's wife Posted October 31, 2007 Moderators Share Posted October 31, 2007 I think Joe Montana is one, if not the best all time NFL QB. However, being a die hard Saints fan I would encourage you guys to take a look at Drew Brees' stats. He is still young, with a long way to go, but he is up and coming!
