gonzp
We purchased a 42" VIZIO LCD 1080p HD TV and a Sony PS3, for it's Blue Ray player. I also purchased Rosalie a 15" HD TV/DVD combo for the kitchen.
Jay481985
we got a 42 inch panasonic plasma because of Bill H. showing the sears price. Its a great tv and now we never noticed how many digital stations there are between the stations in the NYC area. Thank Bill
boom3
We added Blu-Ray and HD to our HT by a fortunate set of circumstances...we won the opportunity to buy a Toshiba HD player at 50% off. Then we turned around and won a PS3 in an online contest. We've watched a couple of Blu-Ray & HD DVDs so far...the reworked early Star Trek episodes are very cool, almost like watching them for the first time. The first movie we watched in HD was the 1938 Robin Hood, beautiful Technicolor. Other stuff in HD varies from "wow" to "so what?" The PS3 games and effects (like visualizers keyed by your movements as tracked by a camera) are interesting time-wasters.

nu2toobs
I bought Groomlakearea51's album collection, new Denon DL103R and a K and K stepup tranny. All set for a while in the analog dept. It also saved my wife the headache of trying to figure out what to get me. She got a new Macbook.

dkp
I bought my wife a 19" flat screen television to mount on the wall in front of the treadmill and an mp3 player. I got bupkiss, lol. I'm padding my brownie-point account right now... -David
Audible Nectar
I received a batch of sixteen Telefunken 12AX7 ribbed plate tubes, all with identical date codes (Jan 1962), and all strong with close balance between the triodes. When considering the Teles already in my stash, this is a quantity sufficient to last me until I am dead - a lifetime supply :-)
