ClaudeJ1
Not changing my mind. Sorry. Well then, if that's the case, I'll go back to your original quote "What makes a Jubilee a Jubilee is the bass bin, regardless of which horn you use on top." It's on Kevin's Video. My point was simply that calling a LaScala bin with a 510 a Jube..........anything Scala or otherwise, diddn't make it a "Jube" according to you. I don't want to belabor semantics any more we both made our points and I will gracefully bow out of this. ClaudeJ1
How you been doing Claude? Fine and you? I liked your new theater sub design from Kevins photos. Are you still "chasing the bubble?"

Guessing because there is expansion in one plane only not two. MWM and Quarter Pie are the same way.

spezjag
^ Wow! That is the first time I have seen one of these from this perspective. That is really interesting. I did not realize how the drivers fire toward the front, with the bass wave passing through a bit of a maze before exiting the cabinet. The cabinet looms pretty well braced, though, so it does not appear there is much opportunity for unwanted resonances. Must weigh a ton, though. Wrinkles
I just had to bump this thread for those not too familiar. I ran across this looking for something else.
