I do not observe DST Customers know that I get there when I can5 points

Itβs been raining all day with temps in the low 30βs. The orchard up on the BRP is covered in a thick glaze of ice. I only saw one tree that had any buds out so I think the Apple crop should still be okay.4 points

I have spent the most of my life in 2 states that don't DST. ......... there is no logic that explains the need for it, in my eyes.4 points

Paradise huh? Not here, my escape is eminent! Feeling multi-generational: "yea, that's the ticket"4 points

Yea, thought about changing the alarm clock about 4 when I crashed. I saw 11 then realized it was noon. Yea, ok. Another day in paradise. π4 points

We are getting a cold snap. Looks like we topped out at 42 and it's been raining non stop. I'm in my thick flannel shirt that's actually polyester fuzz... and it's got me warmed up.4 points

You can blame @JohnJfor this album. Stirred my pot a bit over in The Other Discs so now she's rippin my heart out with this one. That woman w/the Bonnie Raitt/Joplin voice slays me! From 1994... Thank me later! No import here but you'll pay IF you can find it!4 points

Originally conceived by Jeff Lynne as a double LP, 18-track album, but finally released as a single one. Vinyl releases consisted only of 10 tracks: Donβt see this album played often, Itβs not like past work by ELO in synth prog and most fans have a low opinion of it as it has come to light that it was a release for contractual reasons However itβs more well timed synth pop and in that light it stands on its own for the time period Artist- Electric Light Orchestra Title - Secret Messages Album ID - https://www.discogs.com/master/21720-Electric-Light-Orchestra-Secret-Messages4 points

Got sidetracked in a good way earlier. If you remember these guys... you're my age or older that's for sure! The Dixie Dregs If you've got no idea who they are this is your big chance!4 points

Nice fusion @KROCK Careful with those OBI included ones! I went beserk with cds last year. Prices weren't bad, shipping was, so I got a half doz at a time. But learned if I upgraded shipping it got here in ten days or so. It added to my cc bills for a few months! My $ is fixed too, it stinks!4 points

Our weather is warm/normal.... mid 70's for highs and low 40's on the bottom end. I'm solo for a few days. Wife went to LA to visit her aunt. Lots of people "downtown".Someone/s decided we are going to celebrate to return of the vultures... this is the 1st annual .... I made an appearance since they are celebrating old buzzards... I bought some snacks... skewered chicken. There is/will be a band at the bar. The entertainment is, generally, not too bad.4 points

I'm totally convinced I'm NEVER gonna see a Championship in ANYthing in Cleveland. They suck! The Guardians??? Named after some bridge in Cleveland? Gimme a break. LeBron James got it done in hoops but everything else up there? Just a city on the North coast of Ohio and lake Erie. I can have more fun going to the Rock Hall of Fame and spend less. 8$ draft beer? 6$ Coke's? Don't get me started! lolol Here ya go! Beatles rooftop display coming up on March 18th. lol Pick a week and come on down. I got you just get here. You'll NEVER be the same. Guaranteed! π https://www.rockhall.com/3 points

Susan Tedeschi Trucks kinda hits you right in the feels doesn't she @JohnJ? hahaha Austin City Limits from 2004 is over in the blink of an eye IF you can find it. KILLER! She'll rip yer heart out almost EVERY time! Check her guitar out in this one. Kinda wonder who's signed it. I know Bob Dylan did for one. Now jump into that Bonnie Raitt/Janis Joplin voice of hers. She's perfected it all in her presentation. Then factor in her guitar work? Slam Derek Trucks in there with her? It's really one show that should be on EVERYone's hit list. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_Tedeschi3 points

Clocks changed, my metabolism is catching up. Listened to the first two recently, time for the third. This band is the full package! Gritty and or sultry vocals from several members, guitar that's comfortable doing anything, up to to an emulation of the Allman Bros. Keyboards, percussion & brass that are necessary here but don't overstep the focus of the story. And it is a story, in four volumes the videos show it well. They aren't a one trick pony. Afternoon @AndreG. I remember all the news about that when the eu (hear Pepe LePew) materialized. Hope it's not coming here! The Indians? Do they still have their name and great logo @Dave1291? * guess the nwo took `em out YUK! I've got that burgandy sleeved Live Saga that impressed me with it's clarity and tone when I first played it. Reading the fine print I found out it was recorded/mastered digitally like we found out about MFSL recently.3 points

@amped I've been in Miami when those big tour boats were practically across the street. The new basketball arena was being built nearby. I was outside of the big skyscrapers in the Cuban section with the best Cuban Sandwich & black beans that I've ever had. It was just a couple horn blows but it resonated through me. So that being played with the crowd cheering is a great clip!3 points

I grew up down there. The Goodyear blimp used to have a base on Watson Island (on the causeway across from the cruise terminal). My dad took us over there to watch and the pilot saw the Goodyear tires on our car and gave us a ride over the city. Them were the days...2 points
