  1. The Sunfire subs are amazing, especially the Sunfire Sig. There advantage is there performance for their size. The EAR can give you the best review since he own many sunfire and most others. I went with the Mark IV and was extremely impressed. Talk about slam from movies. I don't think you would be at all dissapointed if you pick one of these up.

    The Woodsman

Could not complete it due to subject matter.
  3. Frzninvt is correct. For KG 4 and 4.2 the KG2.2V was the center channel speaker. For the CF series the KV-4 was the center. The KV-1 , 2 and 3's were for the KG4.5 and 5.5. The KG*V ended production in 94 were as the KV were produced from 93-98. The CF speakers were only produced from 94-96. So it does depend upon the 4 speaker. Weather it's a 4.0, 4.2 or a 4.5.
  4. Yes the KV series center channel speaker is your choice. They came in KV1, KV2, KV3 and KV4. They (as you can imagine) are discontinues but you can find them on ebay or on this forum for sell.
  5. No matter what price they give you ALWAYS respond with "Is this the best you can do?" 7 out of ten times they will knock a little more off.

My wife and I also watched it last night, we both liked it very well. I agree 8 out of 10 stars.
  8. If it's not making any money then it's not a buisness but a hobby.
  9. Yuo can probable get one at Best Buy.
  10. GeorgeV, maybe you were compairing both LCD and Plasmas to CRT projections but if comapiring to CRT direct views neither ever beats or even equals CRT direct views in any category except for weight or larger screen size. That being said, and you are looking at LCD flat panels or plasmas I would lean towards LCD's based upon my limited experiance. As always you need to compair similar priced displays.
  11. YGMN said it perfectly, the only thing I would add is when you find the sweet spot on your bass, the best location may not be practical. I would then go to the second best and so on.

    After the Sunset

Very similar to the Thomas Crown Affair. Although Selma looks mighty good. I give it a 5 out of 10. Very predictable.
  13. Yes it will work. All Klipsch Reference speakers are very similar in their voice characteristics. Now I wouldn't necessarily use their flagship RB-75with say a RX-'10's but using an RC-35 is very close. And the bright side is when you are ready to upgrade place the RC-35 in the back for a 6.1 setup.
  14. Is not H?K owned by JBL which also makes JVC and Jensen?
  15. I would not even respond..I looks like some one starting a thread just to get a rise out of everyone.
  16. I agree with CAS about your listening habits. If however, you want to stay in the Klipsch family and looking at the rest of your system the RW would fit the bill.
  17. Yes in a 7 speaker setup the two additional speakers are behind the listener. The surrounds are to the side. If you have the surrounds on the sides behind just leave them there and place the one (6.1) or two (7.1) rear speakers between them.

  19. That's typical on alot of subs. You can always by-pass the auto-on feature and just leave it on.
  20. Yes just wiggle it out.
  21. Frz, Dell does not make any components. More then likely it's a Veiwsonic display with Dell's name on it. (Like all their monitors). It also probable not HD but ED. Dell's and Viewsonics Plasmas are the lowest rated Plasmas by Consumer Reports. I would stay away form these.
  22. Yes you should be able to. If you have a SVS sub do you need any more bass? I haven't look at my RF-7's woofers but would be suprised to see them moving very much.
  23. Apparentley he is looking at a older model Sig vs. the new EQ version. At what price difference do you "Ear" think you would go with the non-eq version.
  24. IMO if the price difference between the EQ and Non-EQ is over $200 then I would go for the Non-EQ. Anything less then that I would get the EQ model.
