I have an AVR 125, and it drives the Heresy's with ease. Gets loud enough for me.

It'd prolly over power the Synergy you have now. But you can slowly upgrade until you have the full blown THX Ultra 2 setup.

I recently bought a friggin awesome cd the other day at Best Buy. A friend sent me the cd in mp3 form or whatever, and I had to see what the actual cd sounded like. I'll tell a little about it-- Dream Theater - Scenes From a Memory It was like $14.99 when I got it. A little more than I wanted to spend, but hey, its awesome. Got home and stuck it in. I dont like my dvd changer at all. It has some kind of static. But anyways, The cd the set up like a play or story. The begining, it starts off with a dude getting hypnotized or whatever. I'm guessing he recently went through a tragedy, and this was going to make him relive it. Anyways, John Petrucci is the dude that does the guitar, and he's a God on it. The dude who plays the drums is crazy. There are some patterns I've never heard before. And there are so many tempo changes, its amazing. It really shows off the dynamics of Klipsch. The cd has 12 tracks, and track ten is the climax of the whole cd. Track 11 reminds me of the ending of Dark Side of the Moon. The whole cd is a must listen for any one.

You'll love the Heresy's. Anything under $450 would have been a fair price. I think I remember seeing these on there. The dude also had Khorns in the back of the picture, right?? The Heresy's do lack some bass, so a sub is almost a must. PWK always called them 2/3rds of a Khorn. If you dont like them, I'm sure some one will be able to use them on the forum. Good luck!!!

I have one of the *25 series, and I dont have any hissing problems. I can turn it up all the way, and have to stick my ear up to the speaker to hear the hissing. My setup wasn't difficult either, though. It's possible that they changed the program in the *35 series. As far as I know its only a make over. The same amp and all that. At least that's what I heard.

Yesterday there was a SVS 20-39 with a buy it now of $275. Not sure if its still on there. I would have gotten it if I didn't have my sub.

The K-28 is the woofer out the Forte.

DeanG does awesome crossovers for all the Heritage. I honestly think it'd be worth it. Another upgrade, for the low end, is getting a pair of K-28 woofers for them. They'll let the Heresy keep a solid response to the 30 hz range. I'll be getting two by February, so I'll let every one know how that turned out. You could also put rope caulk around the horns.

Yup, I use a sub with my Heresy's. Heresys drop off after about 80 hz anyways, so my sub keeps everything pretty solid until a little below 20 hz.

I've seen it at Best Buy, and dont particularly like the way it looks. Also, I've noticed that it runs pretty warm, but I dont think it was that big of a problem. You could always get it, and return it if you dont like it.
