  1. We got the black looking stuff, the blond was nasty, smelled like dog poop when burned, it was time to quit. Probably was. I have mistaken skunk spray for hydroponic MJ myself. Real Skunk buds do come around once and a while but seems to be kind of hard to find. Its counter to what most people think but good soil grown bud is actually higher quality than hydroponic. Growers just use hydroponic systems to maximize yield and be able to maintain nutrient levels etc easier. I attended the University of Colorado when the Medical Cannabis movement really started out and know a decent amount about the industry. Most strains are a mix of the two primary types of plant: Indica and Sativa. Sativa is a taller plant and has more THC for a mind racing energetic (paranoid) feeling while Indica is bushier and has more CBD which is the typical "Stoned" couch lock feeling. The different strains have been bred between a mix of these two plants for different effects. The best I have ever tried was called "Champagne" and it was a wonderful Sativa that was clear headed and euphoric but not at all overwhelming, just overall pleasant. Lol its gotten to the point now where Cannabis is rivaling fine Wine in how intricate the nuances are and the care required to grow it and cure it properly. Blueberry for me
  2. Whoever said I'm not?Have to admit, I'm kind of enjoying reading what you all are thinking about me, even though all I did was agree with Dave....which may of course be cause for concern..... being a Wolverine, i figured you more of a hashish guy. Ann Arbor Hash Bash veteran. '71 and '72 for me
  3. Received my machine today. Very well packed, great shape, nice machine!! Thank you Kip.
  4. They are paying rather close attention though, eh?
  5. OH MY GOD!! IS THAT FOR REAL? HOW COULD SOMEONE BE SO DUMB!!!! I mean, cmon folks....there are thousands and thousands of expatriots from every western country on the planet living in Thailand. I know, I was one of them. Many white men are married to Thai women and are an integral part of their families. Sure, some of you may see this as ridiculous and funny, but believe me, it's not unusual at all.

  7. No, the falling out between all of the members was pretty hard, and I don't think he could have in any way improved what IMHO was a pretty terrible performance. Jackson Browne forgot some of the lyrics to a song he co-wrote.....I've seen him do that before unfortunately, in a concert with Bonnie Raitt. Really, really bad.
  8. Photos added. Please PM me if interested. May consider shipping if no interest locally.
  9. Strictly personal observation and not intended to offend anyone, but my observation over some 45 years of being around the stuff and people using it at one time or the other suggests that only people who are very well adjusted and even keeled like it from day one. It's an amplifier. If one is paranoid, that person may get more paranoid. If one is even keeled, they just get more even keeled. If the love music, they get ecstatic over it. If they love humor, everything is suddenly funny. Etc. I got pretty good at guessing reactions so I feel fairly confident in the above. Interested to hear comments either way. Dave Couldn't agree with you more....spot on.
  10. I was trying to provide an exit ramp... A good thought and intention, but, doesn't work with this guy.
  11. An alien who wanted to take you back to his room at the Holiday Inn. I only do Marriott
  12. Again? Dammit, I'm going to have to pay attention next time

    What I Got Today!

Just wondering....do you watch TV with the lights off like that, regularly?
  14. That's 600 each....and, "made from fir tree".....
  15. Knowing nothing about the subject matter at hand makes for a great interviewer....don't you think? I aspire to fail to prepare for every task of which I am about to undertake....Holy mackerel.....
  16. It's a nice thought, but unfortunately will probably only serve to have him change his tactics, if he's smart enough to do that....which is certainly in question...
  17. Okay, well any of you loons are smart enough to read a simple schematic and source the parts of your choice. With all of the kits that Crites has sold, I figured this thread would be up to 50 pages by now. Of course, I've seen some of that work, as well as plenty of results from the Universal kits -- which is why I've stayed away from kits. Gil makes good suggestions on the first page. A temperature controlled soldering iron and the right solder are a very good start. You also need: a glue gun, a good drill, zip ties of several different sizes, small needle nose pliers, small wire cutters, desoldering braid, tin/copper bus wire, crimper, disconnects, and other small parts. You could also invest in a lot of test equipment, but the parts you buy are tested at the factory - and new capacitors either work or they don't. Incidentally, the same with coils - they either work or they don't. Still, I recommend a multimeter, and another meter for measuring capacitance and inductance. yes but the information, the database of suppliers for specific applications is invaluable. That's something that certainly takes a long time to acquire and a mastery of putting it in practice. Regardless of whether the person receiving the goods actually ends up being happy with it is still a pretty good size crapshoot, still, it's worth a try.....
  18. I would think that it would be the ease of availability to high quality components and of course your experience in putting all of that together relatively quickly. Not an endorsement, just an opinion.
