Hey Carl, yep I'm current on what's out there. Most of what has changed is the real high end stuff. As is the case in our audio world, it just depends on your budget and what you want to accomplish. Target, or critters, or both? Accuracy is a function of a lot of different factors, including (of course) the shooter themselves, choice of gun, distance, temperature, humidity, wind. Those little pellets are easily affected by the smallest force. I would say that most of the decent units out there are fairly quiet, not silent mind you, but pretty good. It is a fun hobby, but just like anything else, can get really expensive and time consuming very quickly.
