That you will get a specific type of training when you leave boot camp? Or something else? Every enlistee signs a contract. Military needs and world situations change on a daily basis. That is also in the contract, in not so many words.... Now, having said that...if you don't vote, you are basically saying "Screw You", or something similar, to all of the brave men and women who have and will serve in our armed forces. IMO, if there is one, single basic thing that they are serving to defend, it is that right to vote. I did serve, for quite a long time, and during several conflicts, and I do not expect anyone to verbally say Thank You. I do expect people to exercise their right to vote.

Forget the magazines, all you have to do is completely and totally depend on the all-seeing, all-knowing members of this forum. Just ask and you shall receive unfettered, neutral information on any audio product currently available or that has been available for the last century. Why go anywhere else? I mean, really....

A friend is looking at purchasing one of these and is looking for impressions, pros and cons. I think it's the newest model, version 4? Beautiful units, another Mc work of art so to speak. Do these units almost demand a tube preamp to go along with them, or are they compatible with SS preamps? I've never had a Mc, so I don't know. OK, I'll bite....as usual. And you are correct, hugely subjective....source material, source equipment, amps, preamps, SS or tubes, room size, room treatment, room layout, 2 channel or (whatever) channel HT, subs/no subs, whether you are planning to make a Mars journey soon......... What I would like to have, or have already acquired based on those factors could be far, far different than you or anyone else....If you have any chance (and I'm sure that will be difficult) try to listen to all three, or find someone in your local area that has some or one of each to audition. That's the only way for you to decide what is good and right for you. I guarantee one thing....you will get many, many different opinions about this....and why? Because of the above...

But you're not dealing with the same SELLERS! That's the difference, and my entire point. And it's not a matter of treating anyone differently, it's an entirely different approach.

It has nothing to do with respect. There's a big difference between the Garage Sale and Alerts. Garage Sale is for forum members to buy and sell. Respect and decorum are expected and valued there. Alerts are posted for items outside of the Garage Sale, usually by non members. Just about all Alerts are regarding CL posts, which are in many(not all) instances flawed and downright scams. Sorry to be so blunt, however, in Alerts....Money talks, BS (and "dibs") walks. Simple as that. Oh, IMHO.

Huh? If you were to take that narrow view, you could delete at least 50% of the junk on this forum. How does discussion of Global Warming, or Mars Colonization benefit Klipsch? Or the discussion of the deplorable actions of a musician against a person on stage, and the subsequent disintegration of that topic? Or is it that simply allowing that discussion supposedly "benefits" Klipsch? There are many, many, many other places for people to "discuss" and rant over non-audio topics....go there.

On the other hand, it's always good to know where people stand on these crucial issues. You consider this a crucial issue? You mean like the ISIS threat, Ebola, global warming and colonization of Mars?
