Seth, that's great to know. Glad you are happy with them. I've been very pleased with mine, and will be putting another pair in the Belle's soon. I have a couple of very old good friends coming to stay this weekend who have been building awesome tube amps from incredible vintage tubes for quite a few years, and they will be bringing some of their creations with them to play with my Cornwalls and Belles....will post some pics when we get a chance and are sober enough to hold the camera steady....We will be going to the Ft. Wayne Indiana Hamfest this weekend to see if we can find some goodies....

Either get it fixed, or do it yourself. Very inexpensive, usually less than $15.

Working well. In need of cleaning and polishing (they all are), in need of switch cleaning and lube (they all are), in need of voltage adjustments (they all are), and usually all are in need of a modest cabinet refinish, which is quite easy. Prices on the bay and on CL are not (AT ALL), indicative of condition, either cosmetically or functionally. People get sucked in by lovely photos (which may hide flaws), flowery prose (which may be BS), but fail to read the return policy (if any), reviews of the seller, shipping methods, etc. And, oh yea, $600 is WAY too much for a 950, certainly if it hasn't been fully recapped. JMHO, YMMV....

I don't think anyone said there's nothing better. I'm sure there is if you take the time to do your own research. Pretty sure it was only stated that they performed well, and are reasonably priced. The Kappa C's were recommended to me by Justin Weber, I auditioned them in several pairs in my collection, and decided they fit my requirements.

Yes, I'm looking for KLF's or CF's. As it turns out, my room dimensions and corners aren't ideal for Khorns. Still working on the KLF's here. Don't know what's going on with the dude that said he supposedly had them....if it wasn't for the once in a blue moon great deal, I would give up completely on CL. What a pain.

Make sure that the terminals that you are plugging them in to are tightened down as well.
