funny... I have only ever heard it as the output of the cart... not broken down into a "per channel" rating. I have no idea if it's cumulative or not.
what I have seen on the web doesn't say per channel... it says 3.5mV, pretty standard for that class of cart
thanks... I have been told directly from Bel Canto to leave the monos on 24/7 because the units reach thermal stabilization and that is better sonically. I have left them on, but I always have concerns as they relate to longevity.
For me... if I were serious about my vinyl, and I am, I would get a new table and cart.
You are in a pretty good spot with 1500 in your pocket as long as you are buying on the secondary market.
