  1. POST PHOTOS of the EPIC CF3
  2. I tried, wasn't in the cards, but that's okay. As announced during the 2017 Klipsch Museum Transfer Ceremony, the eKlipsch goes over the Museum in Hope, followed shortly after going over Klipsch HQ in Indianapolis. I know that Matt and his crew will probably have something exciting going on in Indy (weather permitting) and the City of Hope is doing something out at the airport (where the Paul W. Klipsch Education Center is located, sound by the Klipsch Museum of Audio History. Travis

  4. Yes, you should come. I will slot you in to talk about the fine attributes of high-dollar capacitors, and expensive cables. Oh wait, that's another dude. It would be great to see you Craig, and you will have the company of several from the Great State of Michigan. Travis
  5. There is a size limit on photos, you typically need to shrink them down a bit.
  6. More details to follow probably tomorrow. Roy is going to cook again. Some never seen/heard before Heritage will be the centerpiece of the Class. @Chief bonehead will run the class portion, assisted by Klipsch Heritage Brand Ambassador, Mike Dyer who will be pounding Dr. Klipsch's Four Fundamental Design Principles and how they have been incorporated into whatever it is Roy has under wraps. I wanted to auction the opportunity to set fire to a pair of Bose 901's as Museum Fundraiser and now some guy with caller ID of "Hp/Hmstd F. Mshal" is lighting up my phone. More to follow tomorrow. Thanks for asking. Travis
  7. Here is a start on information about the Music Box: click on image below. The Museum Curator @JRH Jim Hunter will see this and may have some more information on the Short Horns. Can you post some photos of them? Travis
  8. Welcome to the Forum. A couple of months ago we had some posts here from Bill’s daughter, I will try and link those for you. You can also use the search function for Music Box which will lead you to other posts. Many, many fans of the Music Box here. Travis
  9. Thank you he is gone.
  10. You should be able to send and receive PM’s now.
  11. @Deang might have some input on the Zeners and crossovers that would be helpful.
  12. Yeah, but his dog didn't seem to fancy it too much I agree Bruce.
  13. Poor pup he clearly thinks you bought him a dog house and he is thinking "if you think I can fit in that you really need to lay of the bourbon." Looks like you have factory grills. I had 90ish (they didn't have records for the S/N I had due to the merge of computer data it was their best date estimate).
  14. I have bought 3 pairs, one for Khorns and they went with the Khorns, another pair for some 1990 LS, this was in '04, I didn't like that batch because it looked like they had white cracks and '90 LS had no grills, so I got a different run. I still have a brand new pair in the box from Klipsch. But the most recent pair was about 10 years ago so I have no idea other than what I have seen people post.
  15. As mentioned in an earlier response, RF62 with a sub will excel over the MSR 400 PA system. However, the RF 82 would be breathtaking, as would RF7 III. What the distance between the L and R Speaker?
  16. Um, not since the Bonehead Class in October and those threads. Roy is doing another Bonehead Class in March as part of the Birthday Bash, and the subwoofers and some other Heritage “advancements” are being discussed as his topics. I expect another round of updates, refinements and announcements at that time. Travis
  17. Welcome to the forum, I edited the part about unsupported non-authorized networks, left the rest as is. Q1: One in a million (that it’s a complete failure of a part on the network leading to a different driver not working on each speaker). It’s very, very common to have the problem with loose connections on the crossover networks and/or driver terminals. You heard a sound in 1984 (same thing for me in ‘78), you are going to want what you heard in ‘84. Bad connections are very common, so use that to your advantage on the offer. We can help you isolate the problems when you get them home. If the drivers need new diaphragms, where and how to replace. We will want photos of rear of drivers. @Deang is an authorized rebuilder of XOs and can tell you the good bad and the ugly on every variation that was used in the LS. I think you have a bad tweeter diaphragm, and a bad squawker connection. But buy based on needing total replacements. Which as you point out is four drivers. It probably going to be that you don’t need to replace XO’s right away, you get all drivers working, and then you can figure out what to do on the XOs. Q3 based on what Dean and others tell you on what would cost of diaphragms, XO build you can judge from there. looking forward to hearing how this progresses.
  18. No . . . . They are coming out with 4 Heritage Subs, Horn loaded with the patented vented horn design.
  19. Welcome to the Forum. Can you post a photo or two of the room? That will help others with some suggestions.
  20. I removed the double post, there is a thread on this with same post, I took this one out.
