  1. As Colbert said: Defeat The World! Unfortunately they don't sell the poster as shown on his show. I'm still laughing...
  2. You could do worse thebes....I mean you probably have done worse.
  3. I love black eyed peas. Anytime is a good time. I always cook them southern style while my ex-neighbor cooked them west texas style.
  4. The Danish women get my support for playing at least one match in skirts.
  5. Bottom line? Most people are stupid or ignorant or both. It was the harnessing of fire that allowed for easier digestion of meat since it was cooked that provided the catalyst for the rise of man as a dominant species. I am all for efficient use of the resources we have, but will never tolerate ignorance of history which explains who and what we are.
  6. I used to as a matter of procedure run my outboard dry when putting the boat away in Honolulu. The theory was the greater danger was leaving fuel in the system was worse for the engine, like the gunk issue reported here. Never had a problem doing this. Of course the engine was water cooled by drawing water through as it ran, so over heating should not have been a problem. Oh yeah, water used during this process was fresh to clean the salt water from the system.
  7. Gotta give you partial credit for attempted recovery...
  8. Is that her looking at you sput? And making a zero sign?
  9. Oops. Never mind, lawnmower has gas engine not oil/gas mix 2 stroke.
  10. As long as you don't have music like peter frampton consider yourself lucky!
  11. Peyton Place. Man how I hated that show, with the parents monopolizing the tv for it.
  12. My sister figured out that she could check the ice cream box on the milkman's order form after it was put out. Took mom a while to figure out how we kept getting ice cream added to the milk order.
  13. I had a pair of those. They really worked. Or at least I think I had a pair of those. Roger, you left out Gigantor the space age robot.
  14. Smooth operator was about me. Little known fact.
  15. There should be jumpers tying the binding posts if you are not currently bi-wired, or bi-amped. The bottom line is no for what I think you mean, get a ht bypass for switching between your ht amp and your two channel amp.
  16. Good thing your partner doesn't lurk on this forum....or does he?
  17. I don't know what model Klipsch you have but both of mine have plenty of midrange, geeze the 3 way has a whole driver dedicated to that. You are kidding right? Thanx, Russ When andruxa said he had f2s I initially thought he meant forte II's. Clearly it's not the case with a midrange comment like that, I'm just showing my age.
  18. Michael, at least we still have the original recordings! 20th century technology for old farts like us saves the day.
