Certain speakers tend to run in cycles on ebay. For a while there were lots of Quartets, sometimes there are lots of Forte II's, etc. I don't think it necessarily has anything to do with turn over but instead what sellers see selling and jump on the band wagon, keeping an eye out for a particular speaker to find and sell.

What I would like to know is does this work for all languages, or just english? For example, think of one of those german words that take an entire line to spell. Could a native speaking German figure out the word?

You really can't do substantially better than the FII's without paying two to three times or more, especially if you stray from the Klipsch line.

Lots of tires are noisy. We had Dunlop spA2's and they were great until after 12,000 miles or so and then road noise was a major factor. Just put on some yokohama avid h4s, we'll see after a while.
