  8. Certain speakers tend to run in cycles on ebay. For a while there were lots of Quartets, sometimes there are lots of Forte II's, etc. I don't think it necessarily has anything to do with turn over but instead what sellers see selling and jump on the band wagon, keeping an eye out for a particular speaker to find and sell.
  9. The answer could be here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0060950471?v=glance.
  10. Yes, disturbing. There is a short story called The Triumph of The Egg by Sherwood Anderson which my freshman english teacher made us read, also disturbing for some reason. It definitely made me hate Sherwood Anderson, although that was probably not the professor's intent. Check it out Clarence, just Google it, tell me what you think.

    The Libertine

Re: Depp. Definitely Bennie and Joon, Edward Scissorhands, Once upon a Time in Mexico(are you a mexican, or a mexican't?), even Donny Brasco. Also From Hell. Amy, do you mean house slippers or Hawaiian style(flip flops)? Surfahs are just about all I wear on my feet in the summer(a brand of flip flops). I have this image of Amy in bunny slippers at the grocery store right now, and wanting to be there with a camera.....
  12. I have taken a hiatus after posting most every week with no results in the random drawing(I know it's not supposed to be about that but face it the motivation is there) so this time I go for the one shot gambit. (oh yeah, anyone seen meagain since she won?) Frank Zappa--Apostrophe, lp, japanese pressing. Gorgeous recording, great musicianship, clever song-writing.
  13. Shop at the new snakes on a plane store? Oh man, definite sign of the impending apocalypse......
  14. It seems like everyone here has been "breaking the law, breaking the law."
  15. No surprise about Minneapolis either, but I noticed every major Texas city made the top thirty. I would vote for Manchester, England as the "drunkest" in the world, or at least right up there with Moscow.
  16. I agree with Dtel. Do not ship. I drove 12 hours one way to pick up my second pair, and it was worth it.
  17. It's been too long for me! I'll take two please! Maybe have to try and crash the reception if this is a sample.....
  18. What I would like to know is does this work for all languages, or just english? For example, think of one of those german words that take an entire line to spell. Could a native speaking German figure out the word?
  19. You really can't do substantially better than the FII's without paying two to three times or more, especially if you stray from the Klipsch line.
  20. Lots of tires are noisy. We had Dunlop spA2's and they were great until after 12,000 miles or so and then road noise was a major factor. Just put on some yokohama avid h4s, we'll see after a while.
