I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2 v8 with 145,000 and still running fine. The only thing I worry about is the front end separating from the rear end. JJK

Well trying to eat WWII chocolate discs in 1962 you needed a hammer and chisel to break it apart. The chocolate also turned white in color. They should have used Cosmoline for protection. JJK

I remember that the experimental over the horizon radar at Fox Main (Canada) in the 27 meg range was raising hell with all of the hams around the middle 60's. JJK

Some (most) people give a crap less about quality. Label the products (Muntz for those people) and the good stuff (Western Electric quality for those that care). JJK

They go dead at the wrong times. Electric tow motors have to be constantly recharged when they get to about 75% because every operating function slows down. I had three cell phones I had to throw away because the batteries could not be replaced. My computer bios batteries are costing a fortune. If I don't drive my car every day the computer/antitheft system drains the battery down to zero. The batteries in my BP meter and oxygen sensor go bad on a regular basis. The batteries in the thermostat for the house have to be replaced once a year. The batteries in the CO/Smoke alarms don't last long either. The batteries on leaf blowers, chain saws, drills, (you need a bushel basket of spares) last long enough for old people only because they get tired very quickly. If you want to do serious work you need an air compressor or gas. JJK

I hate batteries of all shapes and kinds. JJK

I know several people that have had both knees done. It takes some rehab for several weeks for most people to put the muscles back in place while on pain killers. They are using a new method now slicing instead of hammering. The very good doctors will do 8 knee replacements per day. All the normal physical people that I know have said it was better than the old knee ever was. Don't know about severe balls a-- to the wall athletes. The cost is outrageous however. JJK

Remember that there are over 5 million variations of cancer. (Cleveland Clinic Lectures, PBS) Might be kind of hard to come up with one cure for all. JJK

I occasionally use it for my artwork. It has a bit more coloring in it than Maple. Around my area the Amish will suck those oaks right up and give you money to boot. JJK
